The Bachelorette star Charlie Newling has died aged 36 in a tragic accident.
The reality TV star found fame on the 2018 series of Australia’s The Bachelorette, where he was nicknamed ‘Mr Perfect’ after boasting of his strong ‘family values’.
Earlier this year, Newling welcomed a daughter with his partner, Kristal Taylor. He also has a 13-year-old son from a previous relationship.
The star died on Saturday at around 11pm following an accident, according to MailOnline.

The publication states Newling’s car fell from a cliff in Dover Heights in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Locals reportedly found his vehicle at the bottom of the 70-metre cliff, and police and ambulance workers arrived shortly after.
A police spokesperson has since confirmed that the crash is not being treated as suspicious.
Many of Newling’s fans have taken to social media and paid tribute to the TV star.
“This is sad to see, may he rest in peace,” comments one person.
Another adds: “So sad. Way too young to be gone.”
A third person writes: “Another young life lost – who knows what he may have contributed to the world. Deepest sympathy to his family.”
“RIP, so heartbreaking,” somebody else says.
A fifth fan pens: “This is very sad news. I hope his family is coping.”
Newling hit headlines over the year and during his time on The Bachelorette, with some viewers claiming he was controlling towards Ali Oetjen, as he wouldn’t introduce her to his family until they were an ‘exclusive’ couple.
Shortly after being booted off the show, he was allegedly spotted being wrestled to the ground at a Sydney pub.
Newling went on to explain that he was drinking and celebrating with friends when the fight started with bouncers late at night.
In 2021, the TV star was convicted of low-range drink driving.

Newling was reportedly sentenced to 13 months in prison in September 2022 after threatening to torture and kill his stepfather, as per MailOnline.
He is believed to have sent 37 text messages over a three-hour period, with one of the messages apparently reading: “I’m going to kill him one day in front of you before I go.”
“You have no idea what I’m capable of but just know it’s not going to be pretty,” another is believed to have read.
In the lead-up to the sentencing, Newling spent one month in custody and later on, he was ordered to serve his sentence in the community.
