The actor was taken into custody following a disturbance call at a local hotel, where he was accused of acting unruly and taking a bag of potato chips without paying.
The incident unfolded on August 26, when authorities responded to a call reporting a disruptive individual who allegedly took a bag of potato chips from a hotel’s food market.
The man, believed to be intoxicated, reportedly consumed the chips without paying. When confronted by hotel staff, he reportedly became verbally abusive before leaving the premises without paying for the item.
According to the Rockwall County Sheriff’s Office, Musso was arrested for public intoxication and theft, with the value of the stolen item being less than $100.
Additionally, a routine records check revealed outstanding traffic warrants for the former child star.
After spending a night in jail, Musso was released on the afternoon of August 27 after posting a $1,000 bond.

The charges against him also include expired registration, failure to display a driver’s license, and violating a ‘promise to appear’ notice.
The police’s mugshot of Musso depicted him with what appeared to be a towel wrapped around his torso.
While Musso gained prominence through his role on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, his career extended beyond the popular show.
Musso pursued a music career, although it didn’t attain the same level of success as his fellow Hannah Montana co-star Miley Cyrus.
