There’s a bedroom kink that ‘millions of women’ are into but most men haven’t figured out.

When it comes to intimacy, there are many ways a couple can enhance their connection.

One in particular has gone viral on TikTok, but apparently, many men are clueless about it.

Discussing the preference online, one person writes: “I can assure you that most romance book girls would likely have this kink!”

Another shares: “I told him. He does it more now. Best day ever!”

“Well well well, the vanilla community is just finding out about small kinks that the kinky community has known all along,” laughs a third.

A fourth person adds: “I love it!”

Many people presume that kinks are centered around physical acts, toys, or specific scenarios but with this trend, it isn’t anything like that.

Although simple, it can be extremely effective and transform the entire dynamic of a relationship.

This kink taps into a woman’s emotional needs and her desire to feel valued, appreciated, and truly seen by her partner.

When done right, it will elevate a woman’s self-esteem, create a deeper emotional bond, and lead to a more satisfying and connected experience in the bedroom.

The challenge with this kink is that it’s not as straightforward as others – there’s no script to follow, no clear actions to take, and no physical tools involved.

It’s all about emotional connection and verbal expression which arguably, many men overlook or feel uncomfortable engaging in.

While physical touch and attraction are vital, some do not realize the profound impact their words can have.

So, what is this mysterious kink that’s capturing the hearts and minds of millions of women?

It’s a praise kink, sometimes called ‘affirmation play’ or a ‘good girl/boy kink,’ involving words of assurance and appreciation during intimate moments.

Unlike most kinks, it’s deeply rooted in the psychological and emotional aspects of intimacy and when a person is attuned to it will create a deeper connection and passion.

The praising can focus on specific skills, behaviors, or physical attributes.

Expert Dr. Nicole K. McNichols explains on TikTok: “People who have praise kinks get turned on by their partner complimenting them. Praise kink exists on a continuum of course, because, I mean, who doesn’t love being told that they’re beautiful or hot or amazing in some way?”

With this topic gaining traction online, many are opening up about their affinity for affirmations, including columnist Jana Hocking.

In a piece for the Daily Mail, Hocking reveals that while it may seem ‘horrendously self-centered, slightly narcissistic, and probably a bit shameless to admit to,’ she is ‘very much on board with it.’

She points out: “It has had a whopping 60 million views on TikTok so clearly I’m not the only one lapping it up.”

Hocking adds: “The kink involves people who get off on hearing how wonderful they are (especially in the bedroom). So if you are like me and you go a bit wild when your fella calls you a ‘good girl’ while getting it on between the sheets… welcome, you are part of the ‘praise kink’ tribe.”

She says common phrases people in this community enjoy include: “You’re doing such a great job,” “You’re so good at that,” and “Baby, you feel amazing.”
