Bruce Willis’ wife has given a sad update on the actor’s health.
Willis, 68, is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and is known for his role in films such as Die Hard and Pulp Fiction.
Fans were left devastated last year when it was announced that he would be retiring from the movie business.
This year, Willis’ family shared a saddening update on his condition – revealing that he has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
And now his wife, Emma Heming Willis, has shed more light on his health.

Emma has taken to Instagram and shared with fans that treatment options for Willis are remarkably ‘slim’.
The model, who tied the knot to Willis in 2009, made the comment after attending the screening of Little Empty Boxes – a feature-length documentary by Max Lugavere, which follows his mother’s life as she battles with dementia.
Emma explains: “When you live in the world of dementia you know that options are slim.
“But some won’t take that lying down which is how change is made, and I got to witness the beauty in that last night.”

She went on to say that the filmmaker’s love for his mother is ‘powerful’.
“His motivation to find answers from leading health experts is inspiring and then be so gracious to share that information is a true blessing,” Emma comments.
“Thank you Max for being so brave and vulnerable to share the journey and spotlighting the importance of brain health.”
The comments section of the post has since been flooded with responses, including from Lugavere himself.

While Willis’ ex-wife, Demi Moore, responds: “Look forward to seeing it!”
Others have also taken to the comments and shared how someone in their family is battling the condition.
One person pens: “For all of you who are loving someone with dementia… there are rays of light within that darkness. You have to look for them, but they are there.”
Another adds: “It is something no one understands till they are living with it or have lived through it. I will always support all you do.”
Amid Willis’ dementia battle, he has reportedly found ‘so much happiness’ after becoming a grandad for the first time.
Last month, his daughter, Rumer Willis, welcomed a baby girl named Louetta Isley Thomas Willis.
A source tells RadarOnline: “Seeing Bruce as a grandpa is the sweetest thing.
“He’s always been so good with babies.”
