Cameron Diaz has revealed why she doesn’t seem to age, and the answer is surprisingly X-rated.

Diaz is one of the world’s highest-grossing actresses and is best known for movies such as The Holiday, There’s Something About Mary and Charlie’s Angels.

After starring in three successful films in 2014 – The Other Woman, S** Tape and Annie – the Hollywood star shocked fans by revealing that she was going to retire.

Following the arrival of her daughter in 2019 and spending time with her family, Diaz announced that she would be returning to acting in 2022.

And with her return debut pending with the film Back in Action, it begs the question of why the 51-year-old seemingly doesn’t age.

Diaz is one of the few A-listers who doesn’t dread getting older – having previously told fellow actress Gwyneth Paltrow she’s ‘excited’ about it.

On Michelle Visage’s podcast Rule Breakers, she even said that she doesn’t care about society’s beauty standards – admitting she rarely washes her face.

“I don’t care. Literally, the last thing I think about on a daily basis—like maybe not at all during the day—is what I look like,” she confessed.

However, Diaz does have some tricks up her sleeve.

In an interview with British Vogue, the My Sister’s Keeper star – who was in her 30s at the time – said that she has a ‘fountain of youth’ and it’s mainly made up of ‘exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter’.

However, Diaz went on to add that she also believes ‘lots of s**’ is important too, adding: “It’s healthy, it’s natural, it’s what we are here to do!”

Although the actress appeared to be joking with this latter suggestion, there may actually be some science behind the claim.

In the book ‘Real Age – Are You as Young as You Can Be?’ by Michael Roizen, MD, the case is made that s** has antiaging effects.

“Having s** at least twice a week can make your RealAge 1.6 years younger than if you had s** only once a week,” Roizen claims, as per WebMD.

Elsewhere in the book, the writer says your ‘real age’ is ‘an estimation of your age in biological terms, not chronologic years’.

Certified s** educator Kait Scalisi, MPH, explains that making love has many health benefits.

“The cocktail of hormones released during s**y times – including oxytocin, serotine, norepinephrine, vasopressin, prolactin, and phenylethylamine – are to thank for many of pleasures health benefits such as boosting your immune system, improving sleep quality, lowering blood pressure and improving memory,” Scalisi says, per Maude.

Planned Parenthood also cites a study of over 3,500 men and women in which they found that those who had s** three times a week appeared to look seven to twelve years younger than their actual age.

So there you have it, having a ‘lot of s**’ may truly be the way to preserve your looks.
