Angelica Ross Accuses Emma Roberts Of Being Transphobic To Her On Set Of American Horror Story
Angelica Ross has accused Emma Roberts of making a transphobic comment on the set of American Horror Story.
Ross, 42, is an actress known best for starring in television shows such as Pose and AHS.
While Roberts, 32, is best known for her work in the horror and thriller genres, having also starred in AHS.
Both actresses shared the screen in multiple episodes of the ninth season of the long-standing anthology series in 2019.

On Tuesday, an AHS fan captured Ross’ Instagram live in which she speaks out about an alleged incident in which Roberts apparently made a transphobic comment.
Ross claimed that she was ‘standing in front of Emma’ when Roberts addressed a crew member (seemingly referring to AHS director John J. Gray), saying: “John! Angelica’s being mean.”
The Pose star continued with her allegations, saying: “And I know she’s not being for real, for real – she’s just being whatever – and John is like, ‘OK ladies, that’s enough, let’s get back to work’. And [Roberts] then looks at me and goes: ‘Don’t you mean lady?’.
“And she turns around like this and covers her mouth. I’m staring at her, looking her dead a** in the [camera], and I’m like, trying to process the f*** she just said.”
Ross went on to say that she feared retaliation if she spoke out about the alleged incident, claiming: “Because… if I say something, it’s going to be me that’s the problem.
“And I know this because there was someone who spoke up about what she was doing and they got repercussions from it. Not her, they did.”
Ross then claimed: “When I saw that happening, I was just like, ‘I’m done. I’m done’. I didn’t speak to that b**** the entire time after that.
“She said to me she could feel the energy coming off of me.”

Discussing the alleged aftermath of the incident, Ross added: “She was like, ‘Are you OK? You haven’t been talking’.
“I’m like, ‘Mmhmm’, cause b****, don’t play me. You’ve been playing mind games with everybody on the set and everybody’s been waiting for the moment that you would get me.”

A day after Ross accused her co-star of making a transphobic comment on the set of AHS, the Her Story star took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared that Roberts had reached out to make amends.
Ross tweeted: “Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling and apologising, recognising your behaviour was not that of an ally. I will leave the line open to follow up on your desire to do better and support social justice causes with your platform.”
