David Beckham’s Brutal Comment After Son Brooklyn’s Savage Statement
David Beckham has seemingly made a savage dig at his son, Brooklyn, following the 26-year-old’s savage statement on their family drama.
The internet has been abuzz after Brooklyn issued a six-page statement addressing David and Victoria, following months of speculation surrounding their reportedly strained relationship.
The statement comes after reports earlier this month claimed the aspiring chef had blocked both his parents and siblings on Instagram and asked that any further communication be conducted through legal representatives.

But now, David appears to have made his feelings clear.
Brooklyn Beckham blocks family
In December 2025, online users noticed that Brooklyn was no longer following his parents or his brothers, Cruz and Romeo.
And Cruz, 20, was quick to address the speculation.
After reports claimed David and Victoria had unfollowed their eldest son, Cruz responded publicly, stating: “NOT TRUE. My mom and dad would never unfollow their son – let’s get the facts straight. They woke up blocked, just like I did.”
Brooklyn had also sent the family a legal cease-and-desist letter, requesting that David and Victoria stop contacting him directly. The letter further instructed relatives not to tag him in social media posts.

According to reports, Victoria allegedly breached the request by liking one of Brooklyn’s posts, prompting him to block his parents, his two brothers, and his younger sister on the platform.
Brooklyn’s explosive statement
Brooklyn released his statement on Monday, January 19, sending shockwaves across the internet.
After remaining largely silent about the alleged family drama for several years, it appears the 26-year-old had finally reached his breaking point.
In the bombshell statement, Brooklyn alleged that his parents had ‘repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name’ just weeks before his wedding to Nicola Peltz, the daughter of American billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner.
He went on to claim he had been under their control for most of his life, writing: “I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.”

Brooklyn also stressed that he and his wife want a to break free from public scrutiny and manipulation, as he added: “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family.”
Among the most shocking allegations was the claim that his mother, Victoria, ‘hijacked’ the couple’s first dance at their wedding – a moment he said had been carefully planned weeks in advance.
He claimed that, in front of 500 guests, Marc Anthony called him to the stage for what was meant to be a romantic dance with his wife, only to find his mother waiting instead.
Brooklyn claimed Victoria danced ‘very inappropriately,’ leaving him feeling ‘uncomfortable’ and ‘humiliated.’
The couple’s 500 wedding guests were required to surrender their phones and were instead given flip devices capable only of taking photos.
As a result, only one video of the dance is believed to exist, captured by the official videographer.

Reflecting on the couple’s decision to renew their vows months later, Brooklyn said they wanted to create new wedding memories filled with happiness rather than ‘anxiety and embarrassment.’
The statement also accused Victoria of backing out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute, despite previously agreeing to do so.
Brooklyn claimed the sudden decision forced Nicola to urgently find an alternative dress, adding that his parents had ‘endlessly’ attempted to undermine his relationship even before the wedding.
David Beckham breaks his silence
Following the scathing attack on his parents, David has since broken his silence.
Speaking with CNBC after ignoring the reporter’s earlier questions about Brooklyn, he spoke about his children making ‘mistakes’ – which many felt was a harsh dig towards his firstborn.
David said: “I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media, for the good and for the bad. What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous.
“But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons.”

In what many have branded a nod to the Brooklyn feud, the former footballer added: “I have tried to do the same with my children, to educate them.
“They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes.
“That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids. You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”
In Brooklyn’s statement, the 26-year-old insisted he did not want to reconcile with his parents under any circumstances – a brutal comment which may have understandably shattered the Beckham family.
