Kurt Cobain’s Daughter And Tony Hawk’s Son Just Got Married
Kurt Cobain’s daughter and Tony Hawk’s son reportedly tied the knot earlier this month.
Frances Bean Cobain, 31, is the only child of the late Nirvana frontman and Hole frontwoman Courtney Love.
Cobain tragically died by suicide at age 27 in 1994.
While Riley Hawk, 30, is the son of Tony Hawk – the retired professional skateboarder and entrepreneur.

According to TMZ, Frances and Riley are officially husband and wife after obtaining a marriage license in San Diego a month before their nuptials.
R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe – Frances’ godfather – reportedly officiated the Los Angeles ceremony.
It is believed that the newlyweds began dating as early as 2021, however, Cobain’s daughter didn’t confirm the relationship until February 2022 via Instagram.
Following a ‘year-long break from posting’, Frances uploaded a series of photos – with Riley appearing in two.

She captioned the post: “I wanted to share a few moments that were captured/created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy.”
The 31-year-old added that she was living ‘more in the present’ than she had ever done before.
Many people have taken to social media and congratulated the young couple on their reported marriage.
One fan writes: “Congrats to Frances Cobain and Riley Hawk… y’all cute!”
Another adds: “This is a Gen X baby dream team!”
“The perfect match,” somebody else comments.
A fourth says: “Aww amazing! She is so beautiful.”
“If they had a child, their grandparents would be two of the largest icons from the nineties. Insane,” remarks another.
While this marks Riley’s first marriage, Frances was previously married to musician Isaiah Silva, 38 – they were divorced after less than two years of marriage.

Their breakup ended up becoming messy, as they reportedly found themselves in a dispute over one of her late father Cobain’s guitars.
Frances’ mother, Love, allegedly demanded that Silva undergo a psychiatric evaluation in 2019 in relation to the legal battle over the instrument.
Cobain and Love’s daughter was born in Los Angeles in 1992 and her father died less than two years after her birth.
Back in 2007, Love told People magazine that Frances is ‘the best of both us’, adding: “I just want things to be good for her, but she’s a lot like me and a lot like her dad.”
