Kat Von D has been baptised in water as she has converted to Christianity.
The celebrity tattoo artist, whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg, is best known for starring in the popular TLC reality show LA Ink, which ran for four seasons.
The 41-year-old has done work for several A-listers, including Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Dave Grohl.
Von D has recently spoken about making changes to her lifestyle – such as covering up tattoos that remind her of her past with black ink.
And now, the TV personality has taken to social media to share a huge milestone in her life.

The KVD Vegan Beauty founder shared a video on Instagram of her baptism – with family and friends in attendance.
She dressed in all white for the ceremony as she was dunked into a pool of water to profess her faith.
In the footage, the pastor says: “Katherine von Drachenberg, upon your profession of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in obedience to His Divine command, I baptise you, my sister, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
The Miami Ink star was full of joy when she was brought back up and everyone began clapping.

Fans of Von D have taken to the comments and congratulated her on the baptism.
One person pens: “I absolutely love this!!!! For all the religious Pharisees talking about her tattoos, believe me, Jesus isn’t looking at that. I just love this so much, couldn’t be happier for her and her family. How amazing.”

This comes after Von D renounced her views on witchcraft and her belief in the occult.
In an Instagram post where she was seen throwing out books on witchcraft, tarot and the occult, the star wrote: “I don’t know if any of you have been going through changes in your lives right now, but in the last few years I’ve come to some pretty meaningful realisations.
“Many of them revolving around the fact that I got a lot of things wrong in my past.”
Back in 2021, Von D also informed fans that she and her family had made the decision to leave California.
The star relocated to the city of Vevay, Indiana, and according to the New York Post, she now lives in a $1.5 million mansion.
