Netflix star Chance Perdomo has tragically died aged just 27.
British-American actor Perdomo was born in 1996 in Los Angeles but raised in the UK port city of Southampton in Hampshire.

Perdomo was then cast in the series regular role of Ambrose Spellman on the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
However, Perdomo was best known for his role as Andre Anderson in the superhero show Gen V, a spinoff of the TV series The Boys.
But now, representatives for the star have announced the devastating news of his passing.
Perdomo was listed as one of the top 10 Brits to watch for 2020, alongside rapper Stormzy and actress/model Jodie Turner-Smith.
Discussing his role in Gen V, the actor told Variety: “I think Andre’s journey is one from weakness to strength.
“There’s an adage that says, if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. And I think he’s quite numb in his life and he’ll fall for anything.”
Perdomo would say his character had ‘a very interesting hero’s journey to figure out’.
He also opened up about his life in 2018, sharing that he was ‘getting into fights’ before finding his passion for acting.
“Before that, I was similar to Ambrose being so pent up. He doesn’t know what to do with his energy because he’s trapped,” Perdomo recalled (via The Independent). “At the same time, he’s very open and loving.”
Following the saddening news of Perdomo’s death, tributes to the star have quickly poured in.
Patrick, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who plays Luke Riordan/Golden Boy in Gen V writes on X, formerly Twitter: ‘This hurts. A lot. What a young talented actor, and a great friend – gone way too soon. Was a pleasure to work with him in Gen V. RIP Chance.”
Dan Beirne, who plays Social Media Jeff, the social media manager for Godolkin University in the series, also paid tribute, penning: “I spent probably five days with him but it was enough to know he was so funny and talented and generous and joyful. His smile lit up a room.”
Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, the makers of Gen V, says: “We can’t quite wrap our heads around this.
“For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.”
Perdomo’s representative said in a statement: “His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest.
“We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”
Perdomo’s publicist confirmed the tragic news of his passing with Variety, saying in a statement: “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident.”
Deadline, which first reported the actor’s death, said he died in Upstate New York on his way to Toronto.
Authorities concluded there was nobody else involved in the crash, but are yet to release any further details.
Hauntingly, one of Perdomo’s final social media posts was of a motorcycle.
He wrote on Instagram: “Day 77. Final calm before storm. #backontheroad.”
In the wake of Perdomo’s death, production for the second season of Gen V has been delayed indefinitely.
