Authorities have confirmed the cause of death of Playboy and Maxim model Masuimi Max.

Earlier this year, devastating news hit that model Masuimi Max had passed away aged just 45.

The model was found dead in her home near Las Vegas, Nevada, when paramedics were called to her house on January 25.

And now, authorities have confirmed the star’s cause of death…

Max’s modelling career really began to take off in the early 2000s, when she had major photoshoots featured in Alt Magazine and Bizarre Magazine.

Max also had many acting credits, including Cornman: American Vegetable Hero and Giantess Battle Attack.

Most famously, Max starred alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Ice Cube in the 2005 film xXx: State of the Union.

She also worked as an online influencer, with over 300,000 followers on her still-active Instagram account.

Max posted glamorous shots of her burlesque performances, alongside makeup tutorials on her YouTube channel.

Photographer Vivian Strory shared an emotional tribute in Max’s Instagram comments, writing: “I am crushed at the news. Thank you for being a part of our lives and giving me an early start to my career working with you. Forever a favourite.

“I’ll treasure the images and time we had together. I hope you weren’t suffering and hope you rule the heavens now. Love you and you will be remembered. I’ll make sure of it.”

Her friend Ashleeta Beauchamp says: “I’m so grateful we reconnected thank you for mentoring me when I first started out in this industry and giving me opportunities I cannot believe this is real.”

Another user pens: “Rest in paradise lovely! I always thought you were such a rock star. I’m so saddened to hear of your passing. You will be missed.”

At the time of Max’s death, authorities claimed they did not suspect foul play.

And now, more than a month later, her cause of death has been confirmed.

It has been ruled an accidental overdose of cocaine and fentanyl, according to TMZ.
