Reality TV Star Dies Aged 32
A reality TV star has tragically died aged 32.
Judy Fitzgerald, from County Limerick, is best known for appearing on First Dates Ireland.
Along with her reality TV stardom, she was crowned Miss Bikini Ireland in 2014 and was also a qualified fitness instructor.
Sadly, Fitzgerald’s family has revealed that she has passed away.

Fitzgerald died ‘unexpectedly’ on May 27.
Her obituary reads: “Sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Liam and Imelda, sister Lucy, brother William, brother-in-law Pedro, extended members of the Fitzgerald and Martin families and a large circle of friends.
“May she rest in peace.”
Fitzgerald’s cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
People have taken to social media to pay tribute to the former model.

Venera Tabakin, a dress designer at the Cannes Film Festival, shared images of herself with Fitzgerald, penning: “RIP Judy Fitzgerald, my little model and friend, Miss Bikini Ireland and Celebrity of Ireland.”
Someone else adds: “A beautiful soul, may she Rest In Peace.”
Former Fair City actress Jenny Dixon, and her husband Tom Neville, shared their condolences online.
“So so sad to learn of Judy’s passing,” they write. “She will be missed by all very much. Our sincerest sympathy to the Fitzgerald family and friends. May she (Judy) rest in peace.”
Fellow pageant contestant Mary Mullally writes: “Judy Fitzgerald our Miss Bikini Ireland 2014, has sadly gained her wings. She will be truly missed in the modelling and beauty industry and community.”
Throughout her twenties, Fitzgerald represented Ireland in the Miss Bikini World finals after winning the Irish version of the competition in 2014.
She also walked a catwalk at New York Fashion Week in 2015 and competed in several modelling championships in 2019.
Outside of her modelling career, Fitzgerald earned a nursing degree from University College Cork – along with a post-graduate Midwifery degree from the University of Limerick.
The reality TV star worked as a frontline midwife during the Covid-19 pandemic.

She also had a career in the fitness industry where she helped clients achieve their fitness goals by providing personalised workout and diet plans on her website and fitness app Judy FitZ Fitness, Get Fit with Fitz.
According to Fitzgerald’s website, she wanted to change her clients ‘lives for the better’ and help them ‘become the best version of themselves’.
Fitzgerald competed as a fitness model – where she was crowned overall European Fitness Model Champion 2019.
She would regularly share her accomplishments on Instagram, where she boasted over 100,000 followers.
The former First Dates star also posted videos of herself competing on TikTok – as well as showing off her workout routines.
