A major update about Madonna’s health has been shared.

The ‘Like A Virgin’ hitmaker, 64, is a groundbreaking pop icon known for her influential and multifaceted career spanning several decades.

News of Madonna’s health scare was kept under wraps until recently, with an unnamed family member revealing that they were uncertain about the outcome of her condition.

The alleged insider told the Daily Mail: “For the past couple of days, no one really knew which direction this was going to turn.”

They added: “Her family was preparing for the worst.

“Everyone believed that we may lose her and that has been the reality of the situation.”

However, according to CNN, Madonna has now been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home after being treated for a severe bacterial infection.

Fortunately, Madonna’s health has improved, and she is said to be ‘in the clear’ after her stay in the ICU.

Sources close to the situation have confirmed that the ‘Holiday’ artist is ‘feeling better’ and is following her doctors’ instructions.

Madonna’s representatives have not yet provided any official comments on the matter.

Well-wishes have poured in from celebrities such as Rita Wilson and Michelle Visage, who have expressed their support and concern for Madonna’s well-being.

Visage, a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, urged Madonna’s tour manager, Guy Oseary, to take good care of the beloved pop icon.

The infection has prompted the pop icon to postpone all her upcoming commitments, including the start of her highly anticipated Celebration Tour.

The tour, set to feature her greatest hits spanning four decades, was initially scheduled to kick off in Canada on July 15.

Special guest Bob the Drag Queen, also known as Caldwell Tidicue, was set to join Madonna on stage for all the tour dates.
