Mia Khalifa Says She’s Open To Getting Into Relationship With A Woman
The former adult star – who says it is ‘difficult’ to get into a relationship – says she is open to dating a woman.
Mia Khalifa, whose real name is Sarah Joe Chamoun, says she is looking for a potential romantic partner and that gender isn’t an important factor to her.
The TikTok and Instagram star, who is originally from Lebanon, was previously married to her high school boyfriend after moving to the US with her family.
The pair broke up in 2014 and went on to divorce in 2016.

Khalifa has since gone on to claim that her former husband encouraged her to go into the adult film industry, which she thinks is a form of ‘fetishisation’.
In an interview with Steven Bartlett on his podcast, The Diary of a CEO, Khalifa reveals that it isn’t easy for her to get into a relationship – but that she also hasn’t really ‘tried’.
“I’m not trying. I’ve been a serial monogamist for a while. I got out of a longish-term relationship, it’s difficult but I also haven’t tried,” she explains.
“I don’t know what I’m expecting, I haven’t gone into the dating world in probably six years, I’ve been in long-term relationships.”

Bartlett goes on to ask Khalifa what she is looking for in a romantic partner and she responds that ’emotinal intelligence’ is key.
She adds: “A good relationship with their therapist and with therapy in general, who’s constantly working on themselves, is self-aware, and understands the ebbs and flows of life and emotions, and how it’s not always going to be even-keeled how it will oscillate.
“But that doesn’t mean go from good to toxic, it means go from good to needing a little more support than you normally have.”
At this point, Bartlett comments: “Men are not necessarily the best at emotional intelligence.”
To which Khalifa laughs and replies: “I’m not ruling out women.”
Since leaving the adult entertainment industry, she has become a huge personality on social media and has also started up several of her own companies, including the jewellery brand Sheytan, which means Satan or Devil in her native Arabic.
