Mia Khalifa has called out the footballing body FIFA over the Qatar World Cup and labelled them ‘imbeciles’.
The adult star has never been afraid to speak her mind, regardless of the reaction.

Khalifa also sparked outrage for sharing a diagram of how to make a petrol bomb, shortly after the Russia-Ukraine war broke out.
Now she has her sights set on FIFA.

The FIFA World Cup is one of the most prestigious sporting tournaments in the world.
However, this year’s event has been surrounded by controversy since Qatar was announced as the host country in 2010.
Women are heavily restricted in what they can do in the country and it’s also illegal to be in a gay relationship.
Preparation for the World Cup has also seen concerns over the treatment of migrant workers.
Amnesty International claims that workers have faced human rights abuses and exploitation.
While The Guardian reported that 6,500 migrant workers had died in Qatar since it was awarded the 2022 World Cup.

A number of high-profile figures, such as Prince William, Dua Lipa, and Rod Stewart, have publicly spoken out against the tournament.
Khalifa has joined the list as she called out FIFA on Twitter for allowing Qatar to host the World Cup.
In her post, she tweeted: “What federation of imbeciles thought giving Qatar a World Cup wouldn’t turn out exactly like this?”
The former adult star has been a big advocate for fighting for the rights of women and the LGBTQIA+ community, so it is no surprise that she is calling out Qatar.
Her post was met with a positive reaction, with one commenting: “The oracle has spoken.”
“Couldn’t agree more,” added a second person.
Someone else said: “They didn’t care. Money talks.”
“Words more true have never been spoken,” another person agreed.
Since the tournament kicked off on November 20, there have already been many controversial moments.
Teams wearing a OneLove armband in a statement against discrimination have been the most public dispute.

England and other teams including Germany, Wales and Belgium had planned on wearing the multi-coloured armband but were threatened by officials if they proceeded with wearing them.
The national teams were forced to abandon the idea after they were told any player who wore it would be given a yellow card.
Despite this, there have been celebrities who have endorsed Qatar as the host for the 2022 World Cup.
Most notable is David Beckham, who reportedly got paid more than £10 million pounds to be an ambassador for the country.
Other celebrities include Robbie Williams, Maroon 5, and Post Malone, who will all be performing in Qatar during the tournament.
