6 Celebrities ‘Not Invited’ To Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Wedding
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce look set to have one of the biggest weddings in pop culture history, with the pair believed to be tying the knot in a matter of days.
The high-profile couple left fans absolutely buzzing in August 2025, when they revealed they were engaged with a heartwarming Instagram post.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the Shake It Off singer wrote in a caption, alongside a picture of them embracing in front of an impressive flower display.
Swift and Kelce have been together since July 2023, after they started dating in the midst of the world famous Eras tour.
Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce first caught fans’ attention when he attended the tour at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce’s podcast helped him attract Swift
Speaking on his New Heights podcast afterward, he revealed he’d hoped to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but never got the chance.
After hearing about the story, Swift later explained that several people in her inner circle encouraged her to give Kelce a chance, insisting he was every bit as genuine as he seemed.
The two eventually connected, and their romance quickly blossomed into one of the world’s most talked-about relationships.
The singer later made a surprise appearance on her now-fiancé’s podcast, where she reflected on how it all began.
“This podcast got me a boyfriend,” she said, revealing how friends and family had spoken highly of Kelce before they ever met.
“My relatives, my cousins, were like, ‘Please, please, please, he’s amazing.’ There were friends that were like, ‘He’s actually an amazing guy, he’s so great.’ There was a lot of people whispering in my ear about you,” she said.
Reports Swift and Kelce will marry this week
While both Swift and Kelce have remained tight-lipped about the details of their upcoming nuptials, most major publications have reported that the main celebrations will take place in New York City over the July 2nd to 4th holiday, with the main ceremony taking place on the 3rd July.
It’s believed the couple have privately booked Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, after permits were reportedly filed for street closures in the area and hotel rooms have been reserved for NFL guests.
City officials have confirmed a major private event is taking place there over the holiday weekend.
Many famous faces will be in attendance
Being one of the most famous couples in the world, Swift and Kelce are reportedly planning a huge event with between 500 and 1,000 guests, including many famous faces.
Celebrity friends, such as Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, Cara Delevigne, Emma Stone, and many NFL stars, including George Kittle, are all expected to be in attendance.
Reports suggest guests have been asked to sign strict NDAs regarding the event, with invitations containing security watermarks to ensure the finer details of the day aren’t leaked to the wider public.
The exact venue reportedly wasn’t even included on the invite, with guests receiving the exact location details at the last minute.
6 celebrities who aren’t invited
Despite there being a significantly large guest list for the big event, there are six celebrities who reportedly won’t be seen at Swift and Kelce’s wedding.
According to Page Six, Swift’s former bestie Blake Lively won’t be in attendance following the actresses very public legal fallout with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
Despite reports the pair were mending their friendship after Swift’s name was continually dragged into the lawsuits, the publication says ‘there hasn’t been an olive branch when it comes to their friendship.’
“And Taylor hasn’t extended a wedding invitation to Blake,” the report claims.
Meanwhile, Nikki Glaser is also snubbed from the guestlist, despite being known to be a Swiftie superfan.
When asked by ET if she had been invited, the comic said: “No, of course not. Me? No. She’d be smart not to invite me, honestly.
“I look forward to the grainy helicopter pictures that I see of it eventually, but that’s all I should get.”
Despite being known to have a close friendship with Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh in the past, it appears the celebrity couple also won’t be celebrating her big day.
While the reason for their exclusion remains unknown, TMZ reports the former friends has grown apart ‘due to differences in their lifestyles.’
Another famous face we won’t be seeing in Kelce and Swift’s wedding snaps is Maisie Peters, who performed as the opening act during the Wembley Stadium show of the Era’s Tour in August 2024.
When asked about the wedding during an appearance on the Zach Sang Show, the singer said: “I’ve not received a sourdough loaf or a wedding invite, I think that’s okay.”
And last but not least, one famous Swiftie who sadly won’t be on the guestlist is Flavor Flav.
In December, he told People: “No, I didn’t get an invite to the wedding. I ain’t expect one. You know what I’m saying? The whole nine.
“But they know they got my blessings and if she invites me, you dig? All right. I’m going. King Swiftie going to be at the wedding.”
However, who knows if the rapper has been extended an invite since then.
