Celine Dion’s sister has shared a sad health update about the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer.

The ‘Power Of Love’ artist, 55, is recognised as the ‘Queen Of Power Ballads’ due to her powerful vocals.

Dion has sold over 220 million albums worldwide across a 43-year career and has won countless awards – including six Grammy Awards and two Academy Awards for Best Original Song.

Sadly, the ‘All By Myself’ singer was diagnosed with an incurable health condition – and now her sibling has shared an update.

In a heartbreaking Instagram post from December last year, Dion revealed that she was suffering from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

Dion said in the video: “I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time and it’s been really difficult for me to face my challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through.

“Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.”

SPS is a rare neurological disorder which has features of an autoimmune disease.

Over time, it locks the body into rigid positions and can lead to abnormal postures – leaving a person hunched over and stiffened.

Eventually, the condition can leave a person unable to walk or talk.

Dion’s diagnosis sadly forced her to cancel her world tour – which she had been on since 2019.

Speaking to Le Journal de Montreal (via SheMazing) Dion’s sister, Claudette, has spoken publicly about the ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me Now’ singer’s condition.

She revealed to the outlet that Dion is being cared for by her sister Linda – who has moved in with the artist.

Claudette told the publication: “When I call her and she’s busy, I speak to my sister Linda who lives with her and tells me that she’s working hard.

“She’s listening to the top researchers in the field of this rare disease as much as possible.”

Speaking about how Dion had been forced to cancel her tour, Claudette expressed how disappointed the ‘To Love You More’ singer was.

Her sister said that she ‘mostly needs to rest’ and that ‘it’s important to listen’ to your body.

Claudette finished her interview by saying that even though they haven’t found a cure yet, they still have ‘hope’ that they will discover something.

Speaking to RadarOnline, the alleged source said that Dion ‘can barely move’.

They claimed: “Celine is in an enormous amount of pain.

“She has the best medical team money can buy but things aren’t looking good.

“Her disease is incurable. And as hard she’s worked at it with doctors and therapists, she simply isn’t getting better.”
