People have been left disgusted at the sheer size of a death row killer’s last meal.
Louis Bernard Gaskin, 56, was convicted for the murder of Robert Sturmfels, 56, and Georgette Sturmfels, 55, back in 1989.
He shot the pair with a .22-caliber rifle in their Flager County winter home – where they were visiting from New Jersey.
Gaskin was also convicted of armed robbery, burglary and the attempted murders of both Joseph and Mary Rector.

Gaskin was reported to have stolen a clock, two lamps and a videocassette recorder from their home – which were all later found at his residence.
He garnered the nickname ‘Black Ninja’ due to donning all-black ninja clothing when he committed his crimes.
At the time, local media reported that Gaskin quickly confessed to the crimes and he revealed to a psychologist before his trial that he knew what he was doing.
According to AP News, he said: “The guilt was always there.
“The devil had more of a hold than God did. I knew that I was wrong. I wasn’t insane.”

Gaskin was executed on April 12 after he received the lethal injection at 6:15pm after being on death row for 33 years.
He had his last meal at 9:45am and according to Department of Corrections spokesperson Kayla McLaughlin Smith, his last meal was certainly a sizable one.
In a press conference, it was revealed Gaskin’s meal included BBQ pork ribs, pork and turkey neck, Buffalo wings, shrimp fried rice, french fries and water.
Many people have taken to social media and said they have been left angry by the quality of food someone gets on death row.
One person says: “I can never understand how prisoners awaiting execution could even want to eat a last meal. Let alone a feast.”
Another user adds: “Man eats better on death row than I do with no felonies.”
Someone else pens: “I can never understand how prisoners awaiting execution could even want to eat a last meal.”
“They should’ve fed this scum a bowl of plain oatmeal and a bag of rice cakes,” slams another.

While Gaskin enjoyed a feast, one death row inmate suffered an ‘excruciating’ death after making a ‘mistake’ with his last meal.
Wesley Ira Purkey, 68, was placed on death row after he kidnapped, r***ed and killed schoolgirl Jennifer Long in 1998, along with murdering Mary Bales with a clear hammer.
He was executed in 2020 after being given a lethal injection of pentobarbital – which gives the sensation of drowning.
For his last meal, Purkey – who is believed to have suffered from dementia – reportedly asked for pecan pie.
However, he never got to eat it as he asked to have it ‘later’ – unaware that there would be no ‘later’.
