An ex-Disney princess has revealed that married men would ‘hit on her’ and offer her their hotel keys when she worked at the theme park.

Sarah Daniels, who would dress up as the animated green fairy Tinker Bell, was asked by a TikTok follower how much attention she got from dads when wearing her costume.

They asked: “How many dads end up hitting on you BECAUSE you’re the character? As opposed to because you’re an attractive woman?”

In response, Daniels, who has over 163,000 followers on the platform, said: “I feel like if dudes are going to be creeps and hit on you, they’re going to hit on you whether you’re a character or not.

“But there were many moments, especially as Tinker Bell, where I had married men hand me keys to their hotel room and tell me where they were staying.”

The ex-performer went on to claim that when in character, Disney actors aren’t meant to reply ‘no’. So she would have to find ways around it.

Daniels continued in a follow-up: “Usually if I was having an issue, I would divert them to my character attendant because you’re not supposed to say ‘no’. Straight up, ‘no’ is not in your vocabulary, you have to find ways around ‘no’.

“Usually, you divert the attention to the character attendant and they would take care of the creepy dad for you.”

Daniels’ fans rushed to the comments after seeing her video, with many saying they couldn’t believe how inappropriate it is.

“Toxic masculinity is just so disheartening. As a father and man we need to do better,” one wrote.

Another added: “Please tell me you have the keys back to the wife.”

“Wow! Stay safe,” a third user commented.

Others took to the comments and alleged that they would dress as characters in their jobs, which had led to similar situations.

One claimed: “Moms used to be extra touchy and say some crazy things when I was [Prince] Charming.”

A second said: “I’ve done princess parties and yeah the catcalling gets worse.”

While a third wrote: “Yeah, I saw that Gaston has similar problems.”
