People Are Saying The Boys Spinoff Is Better Than The Original Series
Fans of The Boys spinoff are praising Amazon’s latest show and saying that it is better than the original TV series.
The hugely popular Prime Video show is the streaming service’s latest adaptation of the comics. It follows the lives of The Seven – a group of legendary superheroes owned by Vought International.
The ‘supes’ are treated like celebrities by the adoring public, but away from the cameras, they are some of the most disturbing and depraved people on Earth.
This is where a group of normal people – known as The Boys – come in to try and expose the heroes for who they truly are.
Now, the latest adaption of the comics has just dropped and viewers have been hailing the show on social media.

Gen V is a high school drama that follows a group of teenage ‘supes’ who attend the prestigious Godolkin University School of Crimefighting.
As you’d expect, not everything is as it seems and their powers are put to the test as they compete with one another for the top ranking at the school.
The cast includes Jaz Sinclair (The Chilling Tales of Sabrina), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), and Lizzie Broadway (Ghosted).
It has also been confirmed that familiar faces from The Boys will also be appearing including Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and Claudia Doumit as Congresswoman Victoria Neuman.

Known for its satirical take on the superhero genre, The Boys is immensely popular with fans and critics, which isn’t a surprise considering it has a 93 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes – with its third season scoring 98 per cent on the site.
So for Gen V to be rated at 97 per cent, the spinoff series is certainly another victory for the Prime Video original series.
And now fans have taken to social media to praise the show.
“Somehow even better than The Boys,” writes one person.
Someone else adds: “Fast-paced and as good as the main story of The Boys. Also is freaky and gore, with a solid script.
“Awesome spin-off, just as good as the main characters and story.”
“It’s very fun and expands the world mythos quite a bit. If you’re a fan of THE BOYS, this won’t disappoint.”
Meanwhile, legendary video game creator Hideo Kojima – the man behind the Metal Gear Solid series – posted on X (previously known as Twitter): “I love THE BOYS, so I watched an episode of its spin-off, GEN V.
“Is it a superhero school? A superpower school Z or a Euphoria version of a superpowers? I was expecting something a little different, but it’s a direct school version of THE BOYS!
“They’ve gone all out! Blood, guts, and youth are all over the place! I was very satisfied! Oh, this is great.”

If you’re a fan of The Boys but still have reservations about the show, it has been recommended by Doumit that the events of Gen V tie into the upcoming fourth season of The Boys.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she explained: “It was great to shoot Gen V because they tee up a lot of stuff that’s going to happen in season four for The Boys.
“Gen V lays a lot of the groundwork and a lot of the foundations that season four will be built on for The Boys. So, watch it because it gives you a lot of information.”
Gen V is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
