McDonald’s To Launch New Menu Which Includes Big Mac With A Twist
McDonald’s has revealed a huge menu shake-up, introducing seven new items.
The fast food giant will be rolling out the changes on Wednesday, April 17, introducing old classics and delicious new options.
Making its fourth run will be the hugely popular Chicken Big Mac, and there’s also a biscuit collaboration with a brand new Lotus Biscoff Frappé.
The new menu items spell the end of McDonald’s Easter menu, which included the Hot Cross Bun Pie and Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry.

Among the new additions will be the Quarter Pounder Deluxe (£4.89 or £6.59 as a meal) and the Chicken Big Mac (£4.69 or £6.49 as a meal).
The Quarter Pounder Deluxe is made up of a beef patty with mustard, ketchup, onion, lettuce, mayonnaise, tomato, pickles and two cheese slices served in a toasted sesame seed-topped bun. An extra patty can be added.
The Chicken Big Mac comes in a triple-layered bun with two chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and the iconic Big Mac sauce.
There’s also the new side of Cheese & Herbs Melts – a blend of mozzarella and emmental in herb-infused breadcrumbs, served with a tomato dip. The cheesy side will set you back just £2.89 or £7.09 for a sharebox.

But it’s the Lotus Biscoff collaboration that everyone is talking about – it includes a Biscoff Frappé and Biscoff McFlurry.
The Biscoff Frappé, which will set you back £2.99, has a vanilla flavour base and is blended with ice and Biscoff crumb. It’s finished off with caramel-flavoured cream and Biscoff dusting.
The Lotus Biscoff McFlurry is made up of soft dairy ice cream swirled with Lotus Biscoff crumbs and a delicious caramel sauce. It’ll cost you £1.99, while a mini version is £1.59.
This isn’t all when it comes to sweet treats.
The Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry is returning to the menu at the same price as its Biscoff counterpart and there’s also the Galaxy Caramel Pie – which launched last year – available for £1.99.
The first is a blend of soft-serve ice cream with chocolate drops and sauce, while the Galaxy Caramel Pie is a crispy chocolate pastry with an oozing caramel filling.
As with any McDonald’s menu change, some items will be removed to make for the new ones – this time, it sadly means the departure of the hugely popular Halloumi Fries, among others.
