Gigi Hadid has claimed that Joe Jonas first asked her out when she was 13.
The model, 28, and the ‘Sucker’ singer, 33, were briefly an item back in 2015 – when they dated from May to November.
However, they met much earlier than this as Hadid has recalled a particular encounter.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight during the peak of their relationship, Hadid claimed that Jonas first asked her out when she was only 13.
She told the publisher that the ‘Cake By The Ocean’ singer – which Hadid directed the music video for – approached her at the Grammy Awards (which is estimated to be the year 2010) asking if she wanted to go to a baseball game.
“We met at the Grammys when I was 13 years old,” Hadid said. “And he asked me to a baseball game, and I said, ‘No’.
“It was literally because I was like so nervous I didn’t even know what it meant to hang out with a boy.

“Also, I think Grammys are on a Sunday and I didn’t want to tell him I had school the next day.”
ET clarifies that photographs show Hadid at the 2010 Grammy Awards, however, she was actually 14 years old at the time.
It is stated that she possibly misremembers her age at the time of the event – Hadid was not photographed at the 2009 ceremony, at which she would have been 13, but she still could have been in attendance.
She also claimed that he wrote his number on a piece of paper and handed it over to her mum Yolanda Hadid.
Hadid dated former One Direction singer Zayn Malik and welcomed a baby daughter together after splitting up with Jonas.
However, she and Malik broke up in 2021.
Meanwhile, Jonas has been married to Game Of Thrones alumni Sophie Turner since 2019 and they have welcomed two daughters.
The X-Men star once joked that before marrying the ‘What The Man Got To Do’ singer, she hated the Jonas Brothers.
Speaking to Elle, the Game of Thrones star revealed that she wasn’t a fan of the group after they covered Britsh band Busted’s hit song ‘Year 3000’.

She told the outlet: “My friends and I were not Jonas Brothers fans.
“There was this band in the UK called Busted.
“They had a hit called ‘Year 3000′. It was amazing, and we were huge Busted fans.
“Then the Jonas Brothers covered the song and made it massive. And Busted broke up. We thought it was all the Jonas Brothers’ fault. So we hated them.”
Despite Turner’s hatred for the band, she would eventually see past it and she started dating Jonas in 2016.
