Adele has announced she’s battling a health condition while updating fans.
The ‘Someone Like You’ star, 35, is a highly acclaimed British singer-songwriter known for her powerful vocals and emotive ballads.
Adele’s career has seen numerous chart-topping hits, record-breaking album sales, and multiple Grammy Awards, solidifying her as one of the most successful and influential artists of her generation.
Sadly, though, the ‘Rolling in the Deep’ hitmaker is currently battling ill health.

According to the Daily Mail, the ‘Hello’ singer has candidly discussed her struggle in an ‘uncomfortable’ area of her body.
Adele describes her issue as a fungal skin infection, which she attributes to wearing Spanx.
The renowned singer shared her experience of developing ‘jock itch’ around her groin area, due to the combination of sweating and wearing shapewear during her Las Vegas residency.
After returning to her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace following a three-month break, Adele addressed the audience during her recent show, expressing how hot she felt under the spotlights.

The Daily Mail reports that she mentioned her sweating and the discomfort it caused, revealing that her doctor diagnosed her with jock itch – a fungal infection that results in an itchy rash in warm, moist body areas such as the groin.
The ‘Easy On Me’ singer said: “It is a bit crude but I never knew it existed!
“Obviously when I do my shows I wear Spanx and keep it all in and make it fit me. And I sweat a lot and it doesn’t go anywhere.
“So basically I just sit in my sweat. And my doctor gave me jock itch [cream].”
On her treatment, Adele added: “So it looks like I am an athlete basically, so I have to squirt it on myself. I don’t know why the f*** I just told you that.”
However, she did have some good news to offer fans: “Talking of body acne, I have started weight-lifting again like no one’s business. And I am absolutely loving it.”
The singer’s return to performing has brought her great joy, although she has admitted to feeling nervous behind the curtain.

She confessed that she had missed the stage and her audience during the extended break, saying that the shows were the highlight of her week.
In March, Adele announced the extension of her Las Vegas residency, adding 34 more dates from June to November.
The ‘Weekends With Adele’ series, which began in November 2022, was originally scheduled to conclude in March, but her representatives announced a resumption of shows from June 16 to November 4.
Additionally, Adele hinted at the release of a concert film as part of her plans.
