Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis called an airline the ‘worst in North America’ after being ‘kicked out of first class’ on a recent flight.

Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom in all eight films, took to Twitter on Friday to tell his followers about his ordeal with Air Canada that saw him bumped from first class to economy.

He wrote: “Confirmed. Air Canada is the worst airline in North America. And that’s saying something.”

Addressing replies, the 33-year-old said he was supposed to by flying first class from Orlando to Toronto, but when he’d arrived at the gate his ticket was tore up and move down to economy due to a ‘full flight’.

He continued: “Kicking me out of first class to back of plane is what it is but doing it at the gate. Literally tearing my ticket up. No explanation other than ‘full flight’.
