Hugh Hefner’s ex Holly Madison has revealed why she didn’t speak to him before his death.
The Playboy magazine founder and editor-in-chief died over five years ago and since then, many women have come out and opened up about their time at the Playboy Mansion.
One of which happens to be former Playboy bunny Madison, 43, who is the former girlfriend of Hefner.
The pair broke off their relationship in 2008, several years before Hefner passed away.
Madison has now sat down with E! News and candidly discussed her time with the late Playboy founder.

The Girls Next Door star tells the outlet that during her relationship with Hefner, she was aware there were ‘problems’.
She recalls: “I knew there was problems in the relationship the whole time, and, obviously, super huge red flags.
“But there was also the other side of the relationship where we were really close and he would tell me all these positive things, so I always hoped that things would change.”

Madison claims that their relationship began to change as Hefner would cause issues between herself and the other girls in the mansion.
“I couldn’t put up with it anymore,” she adds.
Elsewhere in the interview, Madison goes to address why she never confronted Hefner on these issues.
She explains that she had a ‘vision’ of him in her head and that she didn’t realise he wasn’t this person until their relationship came to an end.
“It was odd because after I left the relationship, I was so shell-shocked because I realised that this vision I’d had of him the whole time as this amazing person was just kind of something I had wished for and kind of made up in my own head,” she explains.
“And I realised the person I was looking at was really a stranger.

“So, I never really had any desire to say anything to him.”
Madison is opening up about her time with Hefner in the Playboy Mansion in the new six-part series The Playboy Murders.
The show, which is hosted and produced by Madison, follows true crime cases within the Playboy world.
“There were so many cases I’d never heard of, and I was so intrigued and wanted to learn more,” Madison says in the programme.
“So, because this was about six different stories that were so different from my own – but I could relate to these women just because of our backgrounds – I really wanted to be a part of it.”
The Playboy Murders’ first episode premieres on January 23 at 10pm.
