Jamie Lynn Spears’ real age has been revealed and it’s left people speechless.

While her sister Britney Spears is one of the biggest celebrities in the world, Jamie Lynn has carved out her own career, starring in Zoey 101 and the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias.

She’s also followed her sibling into the world of music – establishing herself as a country musician. Her debut album ‘The Journey’ peaked at Number Five on the Billboard Heatseekers charts.

Jamie Lynn recently starred on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in the UK, but this wasn’t her first time participating in a reality TV show.

Only back in September, she competed in Dancing with the Stars but got voted out of the show in the second week.

Then earlier this year, Jamie Lynn quit Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test after just two days, saying she missed her children.

She was later forced to quit I’m a Celeb on medical grounds.

While she was in the jungle, viewers researched how old the Zoey 102 actress is – with people presuming that she is a similar age to her pop star sister who is 41 years old.

But they’ve been left shocked to find out that she is 32 years old – nine years younger than Britney – and have taken to social media to react to her age, though the comments haven’t exactly been flattering.

One person says: “Based on what I’ve seen of Jamie Lynn Spears, I thought that she was about 35-38 even though she LOOKS about 40-42. SHE IS 32 YEARS OLD! This is bad. Very bad.”

“Jamie Lynn is only 32, she looks the same age as her sister, if not older,” adds a second.

Someone else pens: “Just had to google the age of Jamie Lynn Spears because I swear she was [a] similar age to me, and she is. So why does she look like pushing 50.”

Another viewer writes: “Can’t believe Jamie Lynn Spears is only 32!”

A fifth person comments: “Watched I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Jamie Lynn Spears is 32 but looks like she’s a lot older.”

The Spears sisters have had a reportedly strained relationship after it was announced that Jamie Lynn was named as a trustee on Britney’s SJB Revocable Trust in 2018 – a time when the ‘Toxic’ singer’s conservatorship was being investigated.

The Los Angeles Times explained that the trust was established in 2004 to protect Britney’s financial assets for her children.

In the filing, Jamie Lynn was allegedly responsible for distributing funds from the trust to Britney’s sons in the event of the singer’s death.

In Spears’ memoir, ‘The Woman in Me’, she further addressed their relationship and even went as far as to call her a ‘total b****’.

The ‘Womanizer’ singer also claimed that her younger sister had told her to stop fighting against her conservatorship.

Yet once it ended, Spears wrote how she ‘felt betrayed’ by Jamie Lynn.

She penned (via Insider): “My sister and I should have found comfort in each other, but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case.

“As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalising on it. She rushed out salacious stories about me, many of them hurtful and outrageous. I was really let down.

“Shouldn’t sisters be able to confess their fear or vulnerability to each other without that later being used as evidence of instability?”

Despite their tumultuous relationship, the ‘…Baby One More Time’ artist has said she is trying to ‘feel more compassion’ for Jamie Lynn and that she will always be her sister.
