A lip reader has shared what Jennifer Lopez said to Ben Affleck during a tense moment at the Grammys.
The 65th annual Grammy Awards certainly had a number of talking points among viewers.
From Sam Smith’s ‘satanic’ performance to Chris Brown kicking off on social media after losing out an award, there was plenty of drama.
But a particularly tense moment between newlyweds Lopez and Affleck has really set tongues wagging.
Now, an expert has revealed what they were really saying.

In the viral clip, Affleck, 50, is seen whispering into his wife’s ear only for her to snap at him in response.
The Justice League star then frowns and straightens up his vest and his posture, before it quickly dawns on them it was caught on camera, with Lopez looking directly at it.

She tried to cover up the moment as host Trevor Noah sits next to her, but her husband had a serious expression on his face throughout the evening.
A transcriber commissioned by the Daily Mail revealed what was said in their little altercation.
“Stop,” Lopez tells him.
She continues by saying: “Look more friendly. Look motivated,” before Affleck replies “I might.”

The moment has been widely discussed on social media, with one person commenting: “All couples bicker. I think it is nobody’s business but theirs. I hope they can work through it.”
While one makes a reference to Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, writing: “Jennifer Garner at home eating popcorn like… ‘Girlllllll he’s your problem now’.”
“The Grammy producers are so messy for this but I love it,” a third adds.
Another says: “Hello! This is a real marriage. Welcome to marriage. He probably told her when can we leave.”
“Ben Affleck at the Grammys is me any time I have to be on a Zoom call,” writes a fifth person.

Despite there being internet chatter about the couple’s appearance at the Grammys, Lopez seemingly put the doubts to bed in an Instagram post.
The video includes the caption ‘Always the best time with my love, my husband’ and it shows the couple looking all loved up.

The couple got married in July 2022, after getting together in 2021.
They had previously dated back in 2002 while filming opposite one another in the film Gigli – which came out in 2003.
They announced their engagement at the end of the year, however, they called things off in January 2004.
