Jeremy Clarkson, who almost lost his leg in an accident, has shared an advert for his new beer that was deemed ‘too offensive for TV’ on Instagram.

Hawkstone Lager is made from malt barley that is grown on the presenter’s Diddly Squat Farm and it recently became the number one seller for beer in the UK.

In the clip, which was shared on the brand’s official page, Clarkson can be heard saying: “This is the Hawk Stone, it was erected 4,000 years ago by ‘our neolithic ancestors’.

Watch Jeremy Clarkson rant about ‘lefties’ below…

“It’s watched Roman armies march past, and the Normans, and the plague, and the Luftwaffe, druids, new romantics and punks.

“And now it’s watching me standing in front of it, drinking some lager – lager that I’ve made in its honour.”

He then takes a sip of the beer and says: “F*** me, that’s good.”

The post was shared with the caption: “He’s not wrong…it is f****** good!”

The Grand Tour star also shared it to his personal page, saying: “Bad news: I made a TV commercial to advertise my new Hawkstone lager, which is made with barley from Diddly Squat Farm.

“We were going to show in the middle of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? But I’ve had an email from the lawyers saying that the scene where I take a swig and say ‘F*** me, that’s good!’ contravenes a number of regulations.

“So it’s back to the drawing board.”

Clarkson then cheekily takes a swig from his glass, and adds: “It’s f***ing good though.”

It’s gone down extremely well with his followers who have called him a ‘legend’.

One person wrote: “Absolutely love this.”

“Jeremy could sell sand in a desert,” wrote another.

A third said: “You can’t not like this man.”
