Fans have been left concerned by Justin Bieber after he posted a video of himself crying.

Bieber, 30, is regarded as a pop icon – recognised for his multigenre musical performances. In particular, he’s known for songs such as ‘Baby’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘Love Yourself’.

He’s estimated to have sold over 150 million records and has won numerous awards throughout his career, including two Grammys.

Bieber has been in the spotlight since he was a teenager and has become one of the most scrutinised celebrities – every move he makes captures media attention.

This means the world has seen the ‘Never Say Never’ singer’s highs and lows.

Bieber has previously revealed he was suffering from Ramsay Hunt syndrome – which meant he was forced to cancel some of his tour dates.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome occurs in people who’ve had chickenpox. Once you recover from chickenpox, the virus stays in your body but can reactivate years later and affect facial nerves, per Mayo Clinic.

Bieber broke the sad news to his fans through an Instagram post – his face visibly twitched as he explained the condition.

He told his followers: “Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and it is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis.

“As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face, this nostril will not move, so there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.”

Months went by and Bieber eventually delivered good news to his fans – he had full mobility in his face.

Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, 27, provided an update on the star during an interview on Good Morning America.

“He’s doing really well. He’s getting better every single day,” she shared at the time. “He’s feeling a lot better and, obviously, it was just a very scary and random situation to happen but he’s going to be totally OK.

“I’m just grateful that he’s fine.”

Following his diagnosis, Bieber has largely kept out of the spotlight – making one-off performances here and there.

However, he has continued to post photos and videos on social media – one of which has caused concern with his fans.

The ‘Peaches’ singer has uploaded numerous photos on social media – including some of him onstage and performing.

But he’s also shared two images of him crying – understandably leaving fans worried.

One fan comments: “I hope you are doing OK, I hate to see tears running down your face.”

A second says: “I don’t know what you’re going through man, but hang in there. Find yourself, hang on, peace will follow. You got this!”

Fans have speculated that Bieber and his wife – who tied the knot in 2018 – have hit a rough patch in their marriage, however, Hailey shut down this speculation by branding her husband ‘a pretty crier’.

In response to this comment, one follower questions: “Why was our man crying Hails?”

Another pleads: “Take care of him for us please, don’t leave him crying alone.”

Bieber has not directly addressed the images of himself crying. However it comes after his father-in-law, Stephen Baldwin, asked fans to ‘pray’ for the pop star earlier this year.

Baldwin reshared a post by famed humanitarian Victor Marx, in which Justin can be heard singing ‘I Could Sing of Your Love Forever’.

The onscreen caption read (via The Cut): “Christians, please when you think of Justin and Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, [and] protection and to draw close to the Lord.”
