The man who exposed Jimmy Savile is now trying to bring down another ‘very significant person’.

Mark Williams-Thomas, 53, is an investigative journalist and former police officer.

He’s best known for exposing Savile as a p****phile in the documentary The Other Side of Jimmy Savile, a year after the entertainer died aged 84.

Now the detective has a new target in his sights.

Watch Mark Williams-Thomas discuss making the Jimmy Savile documentary below…

In an interview with inews, Williams-Thomas says there’s another well-known child s** offender out there.

He told the outlet: “There are still people out there who are untouchable.

“There is one very significant person who I have done everything to try and get prosecuted because he is clearly a child s** offender.”

Williams-Thomas claims that he and the police are trying ‘really hard’ to get the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to prosecute.

He says: “He will die in due course and then the floodgates will open in the same way they did with Savile.

“That’s not right. But justice takes many different forms.”

He went on to tell the outlet: “The truth is no broadcaster would have done a programme about Savile when he was alive.

“We live in a society where there are some people you can’t take on and that’s really sad.”

Williams-Thomas isn’t the only figure calling out a high-profile person.

Comedian Katherine Ryan, 39, claims a famous TV star is a ‘predator’ and that everyone in the industry knows.

The 8 Out of 10 Cats panellist discussed the ‘open secret’ in an interview with journalist Louis Theroux.

“It’s very dangerous for us to have this conversation,” Ryan tells Theroux.

“I’m happy to have it, but it’s a litigious minefield because lots of people have tried to nail this person down for their alleged crimes and this person has very good lawyers.

“So am I going to put my mortgage on the line by saying who this person is or entering into any conversations like that?”

The Your Face or Mine? star goes on to say: “We’ve seen what happens to people who talk about alleged predators.”

Following the episode, Ryan spoke out again to make it clear she won’t be naming the alleged ‘predator’.

On Instagram, she wrote: “In my original context this was about my experience and the shared experiences of my colleagues faced with the moral dilemma of whether or not to take a job when you think you’ll be working with a creep.

“I decided on a personal compromise.

“Fine to speak about that experience when asked, I wasn’t trying to ‘out’ anyone or name anyone… but then, they don’t want his name.”
