Married At First Sight Australia star Martha Kalifatidis has reportedly been ‘dumped from a major brand’ after it was alleged that she ‘used a racial slur’ on social media.

According to reports, the reality TV star posted a now-deleted video on Instagram in which she sang along to Nicki Minaj’s song ‘Only’ which contains the N-word.

When followers then began calling her out for it, she apparently removed the clip. However, this didn’t stop one social media user from reporting her alleged action to the hair brand GHD, who she had a partnership with at the time.

They apparently asked the company: “Are you comfortable with a paid [promoter] who [allegedly] says racial slurs and posts it willingly being associated with your brand?”

The hair brand supposedly said it ‘would never condone any offensive or hurtful language’ and later on, it added it ‘will not be partnering with Martha Kalifatdis in any capacity moving forward’.

After the move, Kalifatidis took to social media and commented on the alleged incident.

The 33-year-old reportedly said: “Towards the end of last week I posted something offensive on my IG stories.

“I was singing along to a song which included a racial slur. I immediately noticed my mistake and I removed the content.”

She added: “I had no intent to hurt anyone – but that doesn’t excuse my actions and I completely accept that it’s wrong. We shall all acknowledge the seriousness of the word.”

“I am nothing but deeply sorry. I had no intent to cause anyone harm.

“Again, I’m sorry to any person I’ve offended. I am learning and listening and am treating this experience as a learning curve.”

Supposedly, she went on to say she ‘loves and appreciates every colour’.
