McDonald’s fans have been left fuming as the price of a popular menu item has spiked by 112%.
The fast-food chain is one of the biggest franchises in the world and it’s known for its huge range of burgers, moreish fries and McFlurries.
But it’s also known for being affordable for those who are on the go.
However, McDonald’s finally appears to have been hit by the cost of living crisis – as the price of one of its menu items has shot up in price.

Some customers have even claimed that when ordering through Just Eat, the snack has cost as much as £1.89.
Many McDonald’s fans have now taken to Twitter and reacted to the price increase – and it’s safe to say they’re not impressed.
One person tweets: “No one is talking about the price of a McDonald’s hash brown but we should be.”

McDonald’s has responded to some of the comments regarding the price increase.
One of the replies reads: “Prices are up to the restaurant owner to decide. location and food costs cause prices to vary.
“You can always download the McDonald’s App for the latest and greatest deals!”
The price increase comes after the fast-food chain raised the price of other items earlier this year.
