Meghan Markle’s Netflix show has reportedly suffered a major blow.
The series was set to follow a young girl who was inspired by inspirational women throughout history and apparently, it also involved Elton John’s husband, David Furnish.

It was first announced last summer and at the time, Markle released a statement in which she said was ‘delighted’ to ‘bring this special series to light’.
It read: “Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life’s daily challenges.
“I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series, which celebrates extraordinary women throughout history.
“David Furnish and I have been eager to bring this special series to light, and I am delighted we are able to announce it today.”
They were apparently spotted filming for the programme when they attended the event in The Hague.
It follows the couple and competitors of the Invictus Games – which the Duke of Sussex created – as they all prepared for the event.
Netflix first announced it on its Twitter account last year, writing: “Prince Harry has been a champion of the Invictus Games since its inception so it’s fitting that Archewell’s first Netflix series will spotlight and celebrate the competition’s amazing athletes.”
The Duke and Duchess signed a deal with Netflix in 2020 worth a reported $100million.
