Meow Dalyn, the woman who identifies as a dog, has gone viral after explaining her alternative lifestyle.

We’ve all looked at our pet dogs at some point and thought about what a great life they get to lead.

They get walks, food, and naps, without ever having to work, which sounds like a pretty good deal to us!

But one woman has taken this dream one step further.

She’s now living her life as a dog, including eating pet food and sleeping in a crate!

Meow Dalyn has taken the internet by storm after being interviewed on KIIS FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show.

However, people have been left divided over Dalyn’s admissions.

One writes: “What she is, is mentally deranged and should be in an institution.”

Another agrees: “Let somebody identify as a dog come into her life then she’ll see the reality!”

A third jokes: “God help me please, don’t let my daughter ever want to adopt one of these from the animal shelter. I just don’t think I could handle it. Imagine taking that on a walk, or to the vet and all the trouble to worm it monthly. I bet it will cost a fortune to feed and groom as well!”

Dalyn tells the bewildered hosts: “‘I have pastel blankets and pastel pillows in there, something about being in a confined space, I don’t know if it makes me feel safe from the world or makes me feel like the world is safe from me but it feels comfort for sure!

“It can fit me, the rule of thumb with a dog is that if they can stand up in it, then it’s big enough for them, so as long as I’m on all fours standing up.”

She claims this has always been a dream for her, explaining: “I think that the wonder that comes with play and just being enchanted with life around you is a beautiful thing. I’m not sure if I ever put two and two together that I had to stop that whenever I became an adult.”

Dalyn believes it’s a totally normal lifestyle choice, adding: “I figured that once I make my own money and pay my own rent, then I can extra do anything I want, and I wanted to be a dog!”

Dalyn explains that she involves other people in her fantasy play, saying: “I have handlers. Kind of like dog trainers. They feed me, they take me on walks, we practice training, which is one of my favourite things, because I get treats.”

Sometimes these treats are even dog food, but Dalyn adds: “‘It’s a little bland, I like to put bone broth or some other additives in there.”

She also explains she likes to sleep in a crate, as the confined space makes her feel ‘safe’.

Dalyn confirms there is no s**ual element to her dog play, commenting: “The dog side of me is an everyday lifestyle, so I find myself not needing that in the bedroom at all.”

She also believes that living her life as a dog has some more philosophical implications.

“I don’t find myself focusing on other people and their reactions toward me because I’m so in the moment of just chasing the ball, being the dog, I want to sit and perform for whoever is my focus,” she adds.
