A man bought his wife a gift as an apology after recognising Mia Khalifa in their hotel.
Khalifa, 29, is a former adult film star who quit the industry after just three months.
Although she had a relatively short stint in the business, she still has a loyal legion of fans, with more than 27.6 million Instagram followers and a staggering 36.7 million TikTok fans.
And one such fan had a pretty awkward encounter with his wife after recognising Khalifa and getting ‘too excited’.

The man’s wife, Lya Mariella, took to TikTok and detailed the moment her husband realised the star was staying at the same hotel that they were honeymooning at.
In the video, she explained: “Point of view: you’re in Paris having dinner with your husband and he spots Mia Khalifa, gets way too excited about it and proceeds to text all his guy friends.”
Noticing the clip, Khalifa commented: “Girl, my man was on his phone the whole time, I say we throw them all away and go shopping tomorrow.”
Mariella replied, saying: “I’m currently at Hermes across the street, feel free to meet me here.”
Khalifa joked: “Good, he owes you a Birkin.”

Hilariously, the pair actually went through with their plan and met up to film a TikTok together.
In the clip, Khalifa says: “I’m here at the christening of the Birkin… we’re not going to dunk it in water because we don’t do that to a Birkin.
“This was the best meeting ever and also her husband that we were talking s*** about is the one filming this right now.”
Mariella added: “What a time to be alive,” before the pair hugged.
Amused fans said they found the video iconic, with one commenting: “Lol Mia out here helping us get Birkins.”
“Help me out too Mia,” another pleaded.

On the subject of married couples, Khalifa has warned men not to expect their wives to do the things they see in adult scenes.
Talking to Stephen Sackur on the BBC’s HARDtalk, she said: “Everyone watches p***.
“It affects relationships, and p*** addiction is very prevalent – the things men see in the videos and expect from the women in their lives is not reality.
“No one is going to do those acts on a Wednesday night with the ones they love.”
Khalifa has been widely praised since quitting for being so open and honest about the devastating effects p*** can have on both performers and consumers.
