People have been left worried for Miley Cyrus after observing her bodyguard at the Grammys.
This year’s Grammys ceremony was filled with headline-grabbing moments.
But now one strange moment involving Cyrus has some on the internet feeling concerned.
People have pointed out some supposedly bizarre behaviour by her bodyguard…
From humble beginnings on Hannah Montana, Cyrus has established herself as one of the biggest celebrities in the world.
She’s transitioned from acting to the world of music, with ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘Party In The U.S.A.’ all going on to be successful chart-topping songs.
So it’s no wonder Cyrus is a mainstay of the biggest night in music of the year, the Grammys.
But at the Grammys, it wasn’t the pop star’s musical prowess that got her all the attention.
Instead, all eyes were on her bodyguard…
A strange clip of Cyrus walking the red carpet with her bodyguard has gone viral on social media.
At first, it seems innocuous enough.
Cyrus is walking in front of the cameras, accompanied by her bodyguard, who is protecting her from the elements with a large black umbrella.
However, people believe that this clip is not what it seems.
And although it’s only a few seconds long, it’s been viewed millions of times on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Eagle-eyed detectives are keen to get to the bottom of the video.
People have alleged that the bodyguard is actually concealing a major weapon.
“Fake arm holding umbrella. So the arm is under coat presumably with a weapon. Completely unnecessary at the Grammy Awards. This bodyguard is a clown. But in serious environments, the fake arm is a common tactic,” one X user claims.
“Auto firearm dressed as an umbrella?” another user alleges.
YouTuber Matt Wallace has also created an explanation video claiming that the singer is ‘in danger’. However, he fails to provide any evidence as to why Cyrus’ bodyguard would be carrying a fake umbrella.
Many viewers think the response is a whole lot of fuss over nothing.
“He’s holding an umbrella, of course, that won’t swing like the right he might jab someone near him front or back if it’s long enough. Plus it is raining,” one person points out.
“You’re too deep bud. I’m an executive protection guard. We can’t carry rifles in public or violate any other weapons law. It’s just an umbrella man,” another laughs.
A third agrees, commenting: “Bro, I hold an umbrella the same way in crowded places to avoid hitting someone this a big reach.”
