Millie Bobby Brown is worried her new habit will affect filming the final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things

The Godzilla star, 18, wrapped up Enola Holmes 2 filming at the beginning of the year.

She plays a detective-for-hire in the sequel, who is taking on her first official case which involves finding a missing girl.

It’s a far cry from Brown’s role as Eleven in Stranger Things, in which she plays a teenager with psychokinetic abilities.

However, Brown says there’s even more to it than different genres.

In a chat with Today at Enola Holmes 2 New York City premiere, the young actress revealed that she can’t stop breaking the fourth role wall, which essentially means speaking to the camera.

If you’ve ever watched Stranger Things, you’ll know this never happens in the sci-fi show.

Expressing her concern, Brown told the news outlet: “While filming, I had a dream that I was on the set of Stranger Things and I couldn’t stop looking at the camera.

“And now, I have this deep-rooted fear that now I will never stop looking at the camera.

“So now, I’m so obsessed with it.”

Brown went on to say that playing the part of Enola Holmes was like ‘vlogging on YouTube all day’.

This isn’t the only thing that the child star has found different about filming when it comes to Enola Holmes.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Brown said that her co-star, Henry Cavill, has enforced ‘strict’ boundaries when working together.

She told the outlet: “It’s different because I grew up with Noah [Schnapp] and Charlie [Heaton]. I met them when I was 10. So, for me, it does feel like your schoolmates.

“And with Henry, it feels like a real adult relationship. Like a really good friendship, a really healthy one.

“One that we have terms and conditions. I know Henry. He has terms and conditions with me. I’m not allowed to ask about his personal life. It’s like, ‘Millie, shut up. No’. And I’m like, ‘Understood’.

“Whereas with the Stranger Things kids, it’s different. There are no boundaries because it’s like we’re all siblings. But with Henry, he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate.”

Although Stranger Things Season Five isn’t expected to come out until late 2023, there’s already been some hints at what to expect.

Its creators, the Duffer brothers, have said that ‘big reveals’ may be coming.

Ross Duffer said, as reported by Collider: “The big reveals that are coming in Season Five are really about the Upside Down itself.”

While it’s also been said that it’s likely to be shorter than its predecessors.
