Chilling Details Emerge About Missing Teen Who Jumped Off Boat For A Dare
Chilling details have emerged about a missing teen who allegedly jumped off a boat for a dare.
Cameron Robbins, 18, was on a sunset cruise ship in the Bahamas when he seemingly took part in what appeared to be a harmless dare.
Over a week has now passed and he has yet to be found.

Robbins, who has been described as a ‘fierce competitor’ by his baseball coach, was celebrating his high school graduation on the Caribbean island.
He attended the pirate-themed boat trip on May 24.
A haunting 20-second video shows the teenager splashing in the pitch-black waters just a few feet from the boat without a life jacket on at around 11:30pm.
He disappears seconds later.
It isn’t clear what caused Robbins to drift away from the boat instead of moving towards the life ring that had been thrown in his direction.
However, speculation is growing that the teen was killed by a shark – as a shadowy shape can be seen metres from him – which would potentially be a reason he swam away.

The Bahamas is home to highly aggressive sharks, which includes tiger and bull sharks.
Discussing the viral video of Robbins, one social media user insists: “The video doesn’t lie, he was attacked by a shark and taken under.”
Another adds: “You can see the shark to the left of the video.”
The Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF) Commodore Raymond King has also confirmed that the area Robbins went overboard in is ‘really shark infested’, as per MailOnline.
After the teen went into the water, the boat and its crew members attempted to locate him with multiple agencies, including the US Coast Guard.
Commodore King provided an update on the search after it was suspended on May 27, as per The Independent.
He stated: “The probability of survival decreases significantly particularly if a person did not have on a life vest and particularly if a person is perceived to be intoxicated.
“I can tell you that area where an individual reportedly jumped over, it’s an area that is really shark-infested as well. It is so unfortunate but I don’t want the family to lose hope.”
After the search for Robbins was called off, his family released a statement.
It reads: “The Bahamas government has called off the rescue for Cameron and we are returning to Baton Rouge.

“We want to thank the Bahamas government, the US Coast Guard, the United Cajun Navy, and Congressman Garrett Graves for everything they have done for us.
“In this time of grief, we thank our family, friends and well-wishers for granting us the privacy we need to properly remember our son and mourn his loss.”
Many people who knew Robbins have taken to social media and paid tribute.
Baseball coach Justin Morgan says he was a ‘kid who is truly loved by his teammates, teachers, and fellow classmates’.
He adds: “He is a fierce competitor on the baseball field. He is a hard worker both on and off of the playing field.”
