People are convinced there’s a ‘glitch in the matrix’ after a plane has been spotted not moving in the sky.
Many people have gone viral after claiming to see a UFO in the sky.
But what isn’t as common is people making shock claims about planes – including them not moving in the sky.
But one TikTok user appears to have actually caught footage to prove it.

A video is circulating online that seemingly shows an aircraft suspended in the sky and it’s left viewers questioning if there’s a ‘glitch in the matrix’.
The footage, posted by a woman called Tania, has amassed a staggering five million views, yet the phenomenon remains unexplained.
In the video, Tania drives beneath the plane and overhead power lines, capturing a scene in which the aircraft appears motionless, defying the movement of the traffic below.

The caption reads: “Glitch in Matrix? This isn’t the first time I’ve seen this in Chicago either.”
Over 9,000 people have commented on the clip, expressing their confusion and sharing similar experiences.
One comment reads: “Dude, this confirms way back I saw a plane stay in one spot and looked at everyone around me; they thought I was nuts…”
Another viewer adds: “I would’ve had to pull over and get out to make sure I was seeing this correctly… This is wicked lol.”

Someone else has offered a potentially logical explanation, mentioning that their father – who was a pilot – had said that when a plane appears stationary, it is likely on a head-on course, causing an optical illusion.
Filming from the opposite direction can create the illusion of an aircraft being stationary.
This explanation may account for the phenomenon seen in the video.
Unexplained moments like these can often leave us perplexed, as the world is filled with peculiar and bewildering occurrences that defy rational explanations.

In her video, also shared on TikTok, she showed herself cutting a lemon in half, only to find it miraculously whole moments later.
Disturbed by this inexplicable event, she exclaims: “This has never happened to me, and I don’t know how to act, I’m freaking out.”
Often, there are logical explanations or factors at play that can help us understand these puzzling moments.
This just wasn’t one of those moments.
