Households Urged To Keep One Crucial Item Ready At Home In Case WW3 Breaks Out
One crucial household item will be invaluable in the event of WW3 breaking out.
But it is probably not something most people have lying around their homes.
The prospect of World War Three breaking out has been talked about for years. With conflicts constantly arising around the world and tensions between international superpowers continuously being exacerbated.
However, every time WW3 begins to dominate headlines, usually the talk begins to subside relatively quickly. Someone mentions the doomsday clock, online pundits and historians reference how previous wars started and, eventually, the headlines dissipate.
This time round, however, with the current conflict in the Middle East, the discussion around a third global war refuses to budge. With America and Israel bombarding Iran with missiles and Iran retaliating with attacks of their own across the region, tensions and violence seem to be escalating by the day.
War in Iran does not appear to be slowing down
Although members of the Trump administration insist military operations in Iran would be completed within weeks, there does not appear to be a quelling of the violence in the region.
Recent reports coming out of Lebanon claim 12 people were killed following an Israeli attack in central Beirut. An additional 41 people were wounded in the attack on the Zuqaq al-Blat neighborhood, the Lebanese health ministry reported.
The Israeli airstrikes occurred near the city center of Beirut, close to the Lebanese government’s headquarters.
As the war in Iran continues to involve more countries, Turkish officials reported that a third Iranian ballistic missile was shot down in Turkish airspace last Friday (March 13).

Turkey’s defence ministry has since said they will be having a new US Patriot missile defence system deployed by NATO at Incirlik airbase, in the southern Turkish province of Adana.
Retaliatory Iranian airstrikes have continuously targeted Israel itself.
Tel-Aviv has come under fire over the past three weeks, with two people being killed in Ramat Gan, near the Israeli capital. The attacks were in response to Israel killing security chief Ali Larijani and Gholamreza Soleimani, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Basij paramilitary force.
Last night (March 17) explosions were heard in the skies over Dubai’s popular marine area, where residents were once again issued security warnings and advised to stay away from windows and open areas.
In a statement this morning, the Ministry of Defence for the United Arab Emirates said: “The sounds heard in scattered areas of the country are the result of air defence systems intercepting ballistic missiles, as well as fighter jets intercepting drones and loitering munitions.”

The ministry further confirmed that all air interception operations had been successful.
Even Australia, which has insisted it is not at war or involved in the conflict in any way currently, has seen an airbase targeted.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed an Iranian projectile hit a road just outside the Al Minhad base, where more than 100 Australian military personnel are stationed.
It is the second time the base has been targeted by Iranian attacks, although no one is reported to have been injured, with the worst damage a minor fire that broke out in a medical facility and accommodation block.
Russia prepares more troops as general claims WW3 has already begun
Russia, an ally of Iran, is readying more troops in preparation for a third world war. Having already suffered a reported 1.2 million casualties since its illegal invasion of Ukraine (killed, wounded, and missing), the Kremlin has confirmed more troops are being readied for involvement in the Middle Eastern conflict.
One of Vladimir Putin’s generals, Apti Alaudinov, even went as far as claiming last month that WW3 had already begun.

Alaudinov said in a statement, per UNILAD: “We need to prepare at least half a million people in advance. But realistically one million people. We need to call them up and start preparing them for the fact that the war has already begun, which we already know is happening – World War 3. But it has already taken on a new turn and a new momentum.”
The Russian general went onto add: “And so that no one dares to play with us the way they played with all the other countries, and now with Iran. Believe me, we all need to unite, unite, unite at all levels.”
Keir Starmer warns UK of nuclear warfare concerns
The British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has also been issuing warnings to the nearly 70 million inhabitants of the United Kingdom that: “The threat to the UK and our allies from nuclear weapons is once again growing.”

In a recently released National Security Strategy by the British government, Starmer said: “Tackling this challenge is likely to be more complex than it was even in the Cold War, with more states with more nuclear weapons, the further proliferation of nuclear and disruptive technology, and the failure of international arms control arrangements to keep pace.”
The UK has so far refused to engage in the war with Iran and has drawn the ire of President Trump as a result. Trump has regularly lambasted Starmer as being ‘no Winston Churchill’ for refusing to be drawn into the conflict.
What item should you have in your house in the event of WW3?
With security warnings becoming more prevalent in the face of escalating military hostilities in the Middle East, advice is being shared with residents of the United Kingdom as to what items they should have in case of war related emergencies.
The UK government’s ‘Prepare’ campaign has outlined measures British citizens can take to help ensure their own safety.
Should a power cut occur during an emergency, as is common during major wars, one unlikely item that could prove priceless is a wind-up radio.
“There might be updates communicated by radio during a power cut,” the UK government’s campaign says.
“A car radio can be used, however in severe weather it might be safer to stay inside. Write down on paper the frequencies of any local or national radio stations you use for news updates.”
Wind-up torches could also prove to be essential for power cuts during wartime. Invest in candles perhaps, too. And anything wind-up, really. Go mad on AA and AAA batteries too.
