Prince George Told Classmates ‘My Dad Will Be King So You Better Watch Out’
Prince George allegedly told his classmates that his dad would be king one day so they ‘better watch out’.
Royal author Katie Nicholl claims Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest son made the comment while sparring with a fellow student, according to MailOnline.
The nine-year-old is the eldest grandchild of King Charles III and second in line to the throne behind his father William.

In her new book, ‘The New Royals,’ Nicholl says: “[William and Kate] are raising their children, particularly Prince George, with an awareness of who he is and the role he will inherit, but they are keen not to weigh them down with a sense of duty.
“George understands he will one day be king and as a little boy sparred with friends at school, outdoing his peers with the killer line: ‘My dad will be king so you better watch out’.”
Elsewhere in her book, Nicholl claimed that Kate admires Prince Edward and Countess of Wessex and their parenting style with their two children Lady Louise Windsor, 18, and James, Viscount Severn, 14.
Nicholl claimed that the Princess of Wales admires how Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex gave their kids a relatively private upbringing, despite being in the royal family.

Of course, King Charles’ eldest grandson, Prince George, has a more central role in the family, which author Robert Lacey touches upon in his updated book, ‘Battle of Brothers’.
Lacey claims Prince William and Kate were keen to tell their eldest he would be king one day in a ‘controlled moment of their choice’.
It’s believed this may have took place ‘sometime around his seventh birthday’.
In his book, Lacey opened, via MailOnline: “William has not revealed to the world how and when he broke the news to his son.
“Maybe one day George will tell us the story himself. But some time around the boy’s seventh birthday in the summer of 2020 it is thought that his parents went into more detail about what the little prince’s life of future royal ‘service and duty’ would particularly involve.”
Lacey went on to add that Prince William aims to be a father who gives his children ‘a normal family upbringing’ in order to allow the monarchy ‘to stay relevant and keep up with modern times’.

In order to have this, the family recently made a move to Windsor and Prince George and his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, have moved to a new private school.
As reported by The Sun, royal biographer and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, Ingrid Seward, said: “I think Wills and Kate need space to bring up their children. Kensington Palace is a glorious prison for kids – they want to be able to play football without being watched from behind the gates.
“I think Windsor will be perfect for them, as they will have lots of freedom and they can all be at school together.”
