Prince George has reportedly been told by his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, that he will be King one day.
Royal author Robert Lacey has claimed in an updated version of his book, ‘Battle of the Brothers,’ that the child learnt about his destiny when he was just seven years old.
He penned: “William has not revealed to the world how and when he broke the news to his son.

“Maybe one day George will tell us the story himself. But some time around the boy’s seventh birthday in the summer of 2020 it is thought that his parents went into more detail about what the little prince’s life of future royal ‘service and duty’ would particularly involve.”
Lacey went on to claim that Prince William and Middleton wanted their eldest son to be told the news in a ‘controlled moment of their choice,’ so he wouldn’t be shocked.
Reportedly, Prince George’s father learnt he was the heir to the throne at school.
Royal author Andrew Norton wrote in his book, ‘William and Catherine: Their Lives, Their Wedding,’ that: “Before William attended school he had no idea that he was any different from anyone else.”
Supposedly, the second-in-line to the throne was asked by another: “Don’t you know The Queen?”

To which Prince William responded: “Don’t you mean granny?”
According to the Mirror, the 40-year-old and Middleton are keen to remove their Royal titles in order to ‘modernise’ the Monarchy.
A source reportedly told the publication: “They want to be more approachable, less formal, less stuffy and break away with a lot of the tradition.
“William is said to be focused on a streamlined, modern monarchy to ensure its survival.”
