Trump’s Meeting With Chinese President Descends Into Chaos As Explosive Row Breaks Out: ‘Get Out Of Here’
Trump’s highly anticipated meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping descended into chaos as a row broke out.
A series of behind-the-scenes clashes overshadowed the diplomatic summit in Beijing.
The summit, which was meant to showcase cooperation between the world’s two largest economies, instead spiraled into disorder as reports emerged of White House staff being trampled, Secret Service agents being blocked from official events, journalists being physically stopped from accessing the presidential motorcade, and an explosive hot mic moment capturing: “Get the f*** out of here.”
The chaotic scenes unfolded during Trump’s first official visit to China in nearly a decade, with the US president meeting Xi inside Beijing’s Great Hall of the People for critical talks focused on Taiwan, trade tensions, Middle East instability, and military relations between Washington and Beijing.
While the two leaders publicly exchanged compliments and projected calm diplomacy in front of cameras, multiple incidents offstage painted a dramatically different picture.
According to several reports from US and international media outlets, tensions between American officials and Chinese authorities repeatedly boiled over throughout the day as strict Chinese security controls collided with White House protocols and media access demands.
The summit eventually became less about diplomacy and more about the mounting chaos unfolding around it.
Trump and Xi attempt to project unity
The formal meeting between Trump and Xi initially appeared cordial.
Trump praised Xi as a ‘great leader’ while Xi welcomed the American president with full state visit honours in Beijing, per the Huff Post.
The two leaders reportedly held talks for more than two hours behind closed doors, significantly longer than originally scheduled.
During the discussions, Xi reportedly issued a blunt warning to Trump over Taiwan, describing it as ‘the most important issue in China-US relations.’
Chinese officials warned that mishandling the Taiwan issue could lead to ‘clashes and even conflicts’ between the two superpowers, according to statements released by China’s foreign ministry.
Despite the serious subject matter, Trump attempted to keep the tone positive in public appearances afterward.
When reporters later asked him how the talks had gone, Trump simply responded: “Great.”
He also praised China as a ‘great country’ while noticeably avoiding direct answers about whether Taiwan had been discussed during the meeting.
The summit came at a particularly tense moment in US-China relations, with growing military activity in the Indo-Pacific region, ongoing disputes over Taiwan, and fresh concerns surrounding global trade and technology supply chains.
Taiwan remains one of the most dangerous geopolitical flashpoints between Washington and Beijing.
China views the self-governed island as a breakaway territory that must eventually be reunited with the mainland, while the US continues to support Taiwan militarily under its long-standing ‘One China’ policy framework.
The stakes surrounding the summit were therefore enormous.
But even as Trump and Xi attempted to maintain a carefully choreographed diplomatic image, disorder was already erupting around them.
White House staff reportedly trampled amid media frenzy
One of the most dramatic incidents reportedly occurred when Chinese media crews aggressively rushed into a meeting room where Trump and Xi were preparing for bilateral talks.
According to reports from the New York Post and other outlets, the crowd surge became so intense that a member of the White House advance team was knocked to the ground and stepped on by journalists attempting to gain access.
The staffer was reportedly left bruised and badly shaken, although not seriously injured.
Witnesses described American officials becoming furious over the incident, with tempers flaring as aides protested what they considered reckless behavior by the Chinese press corps, per Sky News.
The chaos was reportedly captured by a cameraman working with Hollywood director Brett Ratner, who was travelling alongside Trump’s delegation while scouting locations for the upcoming ‘Rush Hour 4’ film.
Ratner’s unusual presence inside the tightly controlled summit environment only added to the surreal atmosphere surrounding the visit.
According to reports, frustration among US officials rapidly escalated throughout the day as logistical problems continued piling up.
At one stage, members of the American delegation allegedly described the summit organisation as a ‘s***show,’ News.com.au reports.
US journalists covering the visit also reportedly faced unusually strict controls from Chinese authorities, including restricted movement, confiscated water bottles, and limited bathroom access while operating in the Beijing heat.
The repeated clashes behind the scenes stood in sharp contrast to the carefully staged images of Trump and Xi smiling for cameras inside the Great Hall of the People.

Security disputes spark further confrontations
Tensions escalated even further later in the day during a visit to Beijing’s historic Temple of Heaven.
According to reports, per Yahoo, Chinese officials blocked a US Secret Service agent from entering a secure area because he was carrying a firearm, despite armed protection being standard procedure for US presidential security teams.
The disagreement reportedly triggered a prolonged standoff between American officials and Chinese security personnel.
US staff allegedly refused to proceed without the agent, while Chinese authorities remained unwilling to allow the weapon inside the venue.
The confrontation reportedly delayed proceedings by around 30 minutes before an alternative arrangement was eventually reached.
But the disputes did not end there.
American reporters were later held in a side room and prevented from rejoining Trump’s motorcade as the president prepared to depart the Temple of Heaven.
White House staff repeatedly argued with Chinese officials, insisting the press pool needed access to the convoy.
At one point, according to reports, an American official angrily told Chinese authorities that the Trump administration ‘would never treat them this way’ if the roles were reversed.
Eventually, with Trump already seated in the motorcade waiting for journalists to arrive, a White House staffer reportedly declared: “We are going.”
That announcement triggered another chaotic confrontation as American officials physically pushed past Chinese personnel and rushed across the temple grounds toward the convoy.
Reports claim Chinese officials attempted to block them again by spreading their arms and running toward the group, but the Americans continued forward and ultimately reached the presidential vehicles.
The extraordinary scenes highlighted the growing frustration between both sides during what was intended to be a tightly controlled diplomatic event.
Hot mic captures explosive outburst
The most shocking moment of the summit, however, came during a hot mic incident that quickly exploded across social media.
Footage circulating online appeared to capture a furious verbal confrontation breaking out near the meeting room as cameras shook wildly amid the confusion.
During the clip, an American male voice can be heard shouting: “Move, move,” before yelling: “Get the f*** out of here.”
The identity of the speaker remains unclear.
The chaotic nature of the footage makes it impossible to determine exactly who was involved in the altercation, although reports suggest it was unlikely to have been Trump himself or a senior cabinet official.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a scuffle involving members of a camera crew inside the conference room just as Trump and Xi were preparing to begin talks.
One camera was allegedly knocked to the ground during the confrontation, further escalating tensions in the packed media area.
The explosive audio immediately went viral online, becoming the defining moment of a summit that had already been spiraling into disorder behind closed doors.
