Erika Kirk’s Wikipedia page may be deleted from the platform, as users have made one brutal suggestion.

Erika, the wife of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk was shot dead last Wednesday (September 10), was thrust into the spotlight following the violent shooting.

The mom-of-two lived a relatively low-profile life before her husband’s death, but has since released a statement following her unimaginable loss.

The MAGA activist and close ally to President Trump was speaking at his own university event in Utah, when he was violently shot in the neck.

In brutal footage that has since circulated on X (formerly Twitter), Kirk collapsed in his chair, and blood could be seen pouring from the wound.

The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, appeared for the first time in Utah County Court yesterday (September 16), via video link from his prison cell.

He is currently being held without bail in a special housing unit at the Utah County Jail.

Officials also noted that they would seek the death penalty over the shooting of Kirk.

Following the fatal shooting, a Wikipedia page for the 36-year-old widow was swiftly created, detailing her former beauty pageant days, where she was crowned Miss Arizona USA in 2012.

But calls to remove the page have now circulated, as some have suggested that the mom-of-two isn’t ‘notorious’ enough in her own right, without being connected to her husband, to have a page on the platform.

Erika did not have a standalone page before her husband’s death, and some users have noted that she lacks significant independent coverage.

One editor wrote in the ‘Articles for Deletion’ thread that the profile should be pulled.

“Article was created in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s killing yesterday, but coverage otherwise is either limited in nature (i.e., her participation in beauty pageants) or inherited from her husband,” the user wrote.

Another editor backed up their argument, suggesting that Erika isn’t notable outside of her marriage to Charlie.

Wikipedia have currently locked her page, meaning that people cannot make edits while it is being considered for deletion.

But other users are outraged by the suggestion of removing her page.

“Wikipedia looks ridiculous with a banner on top noting that this topic is being targeted for deletion,” one user wrote.

“And it can’t be edited until Sept. 18? Again, ridiculous.

“She gave a speech Friday night, two nights after the murder (covered live only by FOX) in which she forcefully declared her intentions to take the TPUSA movement forward. The clamps need to be removed.”

Another echoed this viewpoint, and added: “This is ridiculous nitpicking.

“She is NOW notable, so she should now be included in Wiki.

“There are plenty of people highlighted in Wiki that are far from ‘notable’ as many would define it.”
