Paul Rudd has sent a letter to a young fan and admirers of the actor are once again calling him the ‘nicest man in Hollywood’. 

The Ant-Man star reached out to 12-year-old Brody Ridder after he discovered he was getting bullied at school and no one had signed his yearbook.

The young boy’s mum, Cassandra, posted on Facebook expressing how upset and heartbroken she was that her son was treated that way.

After her post reached various national news outlets in America, many people reached out in support, including the Hollywood actor.

In a letter that Rudd sent to Ridder, he wrote: “It’s important to remember that even when life is tough that things get better.

“There are so many people that love you and think you’re the coolest kid there is – me being one of them! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’re going to accomplish.” 

Along with gifts, including a signed Ant-Man helmet that had a special message, Rudd spoke to Ridder through FaceTime and they discussed all the similar interests they have, such as dinosaurs, fencing, and chess.

Paul Rudd Named People Magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

Fans on social media have reacted positively to this heartwarming story, with one fan tweeting: “Paul Rudd is just a genuinely good human.”

Another added: “We need more people like Paul Rudd in the world. He reached out to a 12-yr-old boy after no one would sign his yearbook.”

Musician Schuylar Croom also responded to the story, tweeting: “We need more Paul Rudds calling bullied kids out of the blue to brighten their day. That dude is a real good guy. And he was in a Halloween… so there’s that.”

Along with Rudd, the broadway cast of Dear Evan Hansen also reached out to Ridder and signed his yearbook for him.
