This Morning Fans Rage Over ‘Cruel’ Dog Owner Who Dyes Pooch Crazy Colours

This Morning fans have been raging over a “cruel” dog owner who was interviewed, as she dyes her pooch’s fur crazy colours.

Nicole, who lives in Canada, has faced backlash after appearing on This Morning, as she insists that her pup Stella enjoys being dyed bright colours and that she’s not causing any harm to her pet.

Yet viewers at home weren’t convinced by this, and many took to Twitter to tell Nicole exactly what they thought. Some said that the grooming salon owner should have Stella taken away from her.

Speaking to This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, the animal lover explained that Stella was being mistreated at a puppy farm when she rescued her.

While Stella stood in front of her with multi-coloured fur with ‘#StaySafe’ sprayed on her side, Nicole said: “When I adopted her she came dyed because nobody wanted her.

“They dyed her with a vegetable-based stain, which is very safe for dogs, you don’t want to use any people-dye on dogs.

“We shaved it off, it grew out, and she just laid in her bed and moped and was very sad so we decided to dye her again.

“Then she was so happy and ran around the salon, she was so happy. I think because she gets a lot of attention when she is coloured.

“As she’s so shy it really brings her out of her shell – I don’t know if it’s the attention or if she feels really good about it.”

Nicole then shared a photo of Stella on her wedding day, in which she’s shown to be shocking neon pink. At this point, Holly is unable to hide her concern.

The presenter asked the owner how can dyeing Stella possibly be safe when it comes into such close contact with her eyes.

In response, Nicole insisted: “Because she loves it she is super still.

“There is a little bit of white left around the eye and then you also put mineral oil in the eye to protect it but she’s so still it’s very safe for her.”

This Morning fans were outraged by the scenes and refused to believe that Stella could enjoy having her fur dyed, as claimed by Nicole.

One viewer tweeted: “Poor dog! This woman should be banned from owning one.”

Another added: “NO NO NO THIS IS CRUELTY POOR DOG”.

While a third wrote: “Poor dog needs rescuing again from her selfish attention seeking owner. DOGS ARE NOT ACCESSORIES!!”
