Tom Holland has revealed that he would ‘love’ to be the next James Bond.

The actor, who shot to fame playing Spider-Man, made the comments during the latest episode of Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast

Despite joking that he’d make ‘a really short James Bond’ – as he’s 5ft 6in – he thinks he’d look ‘pretty good in a suit’.

Tom said: “I mean, ultimately, as a young British lad who loves cinema, I’d love to be James Bond.

“So, you know, I’m just putting that out there. I look pretty good in a suit.

“I’d be like a really short James Bond.”

Although he’s keen to swipe the role of a lifetime, there’s a whole host of A-list stars who are also in the running.

Idris Elba, Tom Hardy and James Norton are all rumoured to be potential candidates, along with Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page.

No Time To Die, which is the 25th movie in the franchise, will mark Daniel Craig’s final performance as the suave spy.

When asked if he would ever reprise the role, he said it was ‘time to move on’.

He told Time Out: “I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

In all four films, Craig has been praised for his stellar performance in the legendary role, having truly made it his own. But who will be the next 007? We’ll have to wait and see.
