Blind mystic Baba Vanga made a chilling prediction for 2023 and it’s actually just come true.

Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, who is better known as Baba Vanga, was famous for her alleged ability to see into the future.

The mystic, who spent the majority of her life in the mountains of Bulgaria, reportedly lost her sight at 12 years old.

Somehow, losing her sense of sight seemed to elevate her psychic abilities and she eventually earned the nickname of ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’.

Throughout her life, Baba Vanga made several bleak predictions and an alarming amount have come true – including one for this year.

The mystic, who apparently predicted 9/11 and the presidency of Donald Trump, reportedly foresaw that Earth would be hit by a huge solar storm in 2023.

Solar storms occur when the Sun emits huge bursts of energy in the form of solar flares and coronal mass ejections, as per Wonderopolis.

Alarmingly, they can be as powerful as billions of nuclear bombs.

Solar storms can wreak havoc on Earth, with NASA having warned that they can disrupt the internet and electricity, as reported by Mint.

And this is exactly what happened on December 1, 2023.

Solar storms are graded on a scale of one to five, with five being the most dangerous and earlier this month, Earth was hit with a G3 geomagnetic storm – which is classed as ‘Strong’.

At this level, a solar storm can be strong enough to interfere with satellite and radio navigation.

However, solar flares can also be powerful outbreaks for northern lights (as per Tromsø), which was evident in the skies on Friday.

Physicist Tamitha Skov also warned about the solar event on X (formerly known as Twitter) before it happened.

“The storm is predicted to hit Earth by midday December 1… If the magnetic field is oriented correctly, expect aurora to reach deep into mid-latitudes. Amateur radio and GPS reception issues are likely, especially on Earth’s nightside,” she said.

“Along with two earlier storms already en route means we have a 1, 2, 3-punch. If the magnetic field is oriented correctly, expect #aurora to reach deep into mid-latitudes.

“Amateur #radio & #GPS reception issues are likely, especially on Earth’s nightside. G3+ conditions are possible with this storm series.”

While there were concerns that the solar storm would cause blackouts, it thankfully turned out to be more scenic than anything.

Baba Vanga also made other chilling predictions when it came to 2023.

She reportedly claimed that there would be a nuclear explosion and that studies into bioweapons would advance.

Apparently, she said that a ‘big country’ would test these on humans.

However, the Biological Weapons Convention of the United Nations has currently banned these types of experiments.

And finally, the blind mystic reportedly predicted that natural births would come to an end, with human life now beginning in labs.

Fortunately, none of these appear to have come true – but there’s still time yet…
