CIA Finally Confirms What Area 51 Is Really Used For
The CIA has finally shed light on what Area 51 is used for.
For those who believe there’s life outside of our planet, Area 51 has long been an area of interest.
The strange and mysterious area, located in the Nevada desert, is a central area of what many believe to be alien activity.
But now, the CIA has confirmed what Area 51 is really being used for.

A social media event known as ‘Storm Area 51: They Can’t Stop All Of Us’ took the internet by storm in 2019.
Originally starting as a s***post, it gained a lot of online traction, but ultimately, only around 150 people showed up, with none breaching the area’s boundaries.
But the zone has always been a subject of fascination.
Back in 2013, the US confirmed the existence of Area 51 – which was a major step for conspiracy theorists in discovering what it was used for.
The CIA disclosed the existence of Area 51 in response to a public records request from George Washington University scholars in Washington, D.C.
In the 400-page document, the government confirmed the intelligence agency developed the site in the 1950s to test fly the high-altitude U-2 reconnaissance plane.
Since then, the site has apparently been used for testing other top-secret air vehicles.
This includes ‘for the supersonic reconnaissance A-12 aircraft, code-named OXCART, and the F-117 stealth ground-attack jet, said archive senior fellow Jeffrey Richelson, who asked for the CIA’s U-2 history in 2005’ per Reuters.
The documents said: “High-altitude testing of the U-2 soon led to an unexpected side effect – a tremendous increase in reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs).”
It is added: “U-2 and later Oxcart flights accounted for more than one-half of all UFO reports during the late 1950s and most of the 1960s.”

It turns out, it wasn’t just planes that were tested at Area 51.
“The Atomic Energy Commission Chairman Admiral Lewis Strauss readily agreed, and President Eisenhower also approved the addition of this strip of wasteland, known by its map designation as Area 51, to the Nevada Test Site,” the document says.
The area’s remote and uncultivated nature made it a perfect place for nuclear weapon tests, as per SkyScape.
However, at the time, the CIA’s spokesperson would not even open the discussion on whether Area 51 had anything to do with aliens.
“What readers of the CIA study will find is that CIA tests its U-2 and A-12 reconnaissance aircraft at the site in Nevada sometimes referred to as ‘Area 51’,” CIA spokesman Edward Price said. “What readers won’t find are any references to aliens or other conspiracy theories best left to the realm of science fiction.”
