The woman claiming to be Madeleine McCann has finally received her DNA results.

Julia Wandelt, 21, went viral earlier this year after claiming to be the missing child who disappeared from a holiday apartment in Portugal on May 3, 2007.

The Polish national began to make headlines after taking to social media under the username @iammadeleinemcann.

Wandelt has even made her claims on the American talk show Dr. Phil.

While on the programme, Wandelt addressed some of the big questions that people have had about her claims.

Wandelt claimed that she had never seen any photos of her mother pregnant, that she doesn’t have a birth certificate and that the first six pages of her Polish child health book are missing.

She also said that whenever she had asked her mum about the missing memories of her childhood, her mother had ‘changed the subject’.

But finally, Wandelt has some answers – as her DNA results are in and her full heritage has been revealed.

The results have confirmed that the young woman is not the missing British girl and that instead, she is from Poland.

She also has some Lithuanian and Romanian heritage.

Dr Fia Johansson – a private investigator and medium who is helping Wandelt – told RadarOnline.com: “She is absolutely 100 per cent from Poland.

“She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian but the test results show she is Polish.”

Dr Johansson added that they are now ‘questioning the father’s side’.

She also said that Wandelt’s work has not been in vain, as she has helped move along the McCann case.

When Wandelt appeared on Dr. Phil, she said will not be returning to her old family regardless of the DNA results.

She told the host: “I think that mothers should not do these things to their children.

“If she is my mother, I don’t want to have contact with her that’s all, but I believe she isn’t my mother.”

During her appearance on the show, Dr Phil also read a statement out from her family.

It read: “For us as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and step-niece.

“We have memories, we have pictures. Julia also has these photos because she took them from the family home with the birth certificate, as well as numerous hospital discharges.

“We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia – threats to our address from Julia, her lies and manipulations, activity on the Internet.

“The internet won’t forget, and it’s obvious that Julia isn’t Maddie. We are devastated at this current situation.”
